Shri Ram College of Engineering and Management is a private college established by the Shree Gokulendra Educational Trust in 2008. The result of the last academic exam determines admission to Shri Ram College of Engineering and Management (merit-based). The minimal requirements for enrollment in each of the several courses offered at SCREM are listed below:
Students must have passed Class 12 with a minimum required marks for the program from a recognised university for admission to Diploma programs.
To be admitted to the MBA program, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any stream with at least 50% marks from a recognised university (47.50% marks for SC category students).
For admission to the BBA and BBA Digital Marketing program, candidates must have passed Class 12 in any stream with at least 45% marks from a recognised board (42.75% marks for SC candidates of Haryana).
For admission to the BCA program, students must have passed Class 12 or any equivalent exam with at least 45% marks. Candidates who belong to the SC and ST category of Haryana require only 40% marks.
Candidates for the BTech program must have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% in Physics and Chemistry as required subjects and Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, and Biotechnology as electives. However, students in the SC category must have 42.75%.
The minimum eligibility criteria of BVoc in MLT requires class 12 in PCM or PCB or students must have class 12 and L4 Certificate in relevant fields or class 10 with diploma degree. Candidates can also apply if they have Class 10 results plus I.T.I. (2-year) with Hindi or English as language subjects.

Additionally, the placement cell offers several corporate seminars where students can network with executives from leading businesses.
28+ national and international companies, including banks, telecoms, electronics, software and IT firms, financial institutions, and non-profit organisations, visit the Shri Ram College of Engineering and Management for the 2024 placement drive to hire prospective students. In 2024, almost 500 postgraduate students and graduates took part in the job placement campaign. Approximately 150 students were hired by the leading companies during the 2024 drive.
