Sagar Group of Institutions Overview
Sagar Group of Institutions is one of the prestigious premier institutions across the country. In the year 2009, SVVR Educational Society established Food and Agri-Business schools (SGI-FABS). It is the first such non-government institute in the past in Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, and now in the Telangana state. The institute is approved by the AICTE.
It offers a flagship education program of Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Agri-Business Management (PGDM-ABM). SGI-FABS also offers an executive development training program and undertakes action research and consultancy activities in the Food, Agriculture, and Allied Business domains. Along with this, it also offers a Diploma in Agriculture and AC&BC programs.
Spread over 50 acres of land, the institutes provide various facilities to their students, such as academic blocks, a canteen, a library, hostels, and a business communication lab. Along with these, there are sports-centric environments because Sagar Group of Institutes believes in the overall development of students, and it has its own sports fest, Sagar’s IGNITE.
The institute has signed an MOU with the IBS Hyderabad, VIPER, MANAGE, APMAS, and Sumunnati Foundation to foster collaboration, facilitate knowledge exchange, and promote innovative ideas.

Sagar Group of Institutions Admission Overview
SGI-FABS provides PGDM and Diploma courses in disciplines such as Management, Agriculture, Finance, and Operations. Admission for the year 2025 is open now, and the last date to fill out the application form is October 2025 (Tentative).
The most popular programs offered are PGDM-Agri-Business Management, Diploma in Agriculture, AC&BC, etc. Admission to the PGDM-ABM programs is based on the marks secured by the candidates in the entrance test, like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT, or having achieved 50% in graduation. Besides this, a personal interview is required for admission.
Furthermore, the total fees for the PGDM program are INR 5,28,000. While applying for admission, students must pay an application fee of INR 500.

Sagar Group of Institutions Admission Eligibility Criteria 2025
The Sagar Group of Institutes provides Postgraduate and Diploma courses with particular eligibility for the 2025 session.
For admission to the PGDM-ABM, graduates from all disciplines are eligible. A recognised graduate degree from a UGC/ICAR-accredited institution is mandatory.
Final-year students are also eligible to apply, but at the time of joining, graduation must be completed.
Candidates should have possessed at least 50% marks or a CGPA of 5 in graduation.
Candidates must have appeared for one of the following entrance exams, like CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT, or XAT.
