S. S. Institute of Management Lucknow came into existence in the year 2009 under the S.S. Educational Trust. It is one of the emerging institutes for Management education, not only in Uttar Pradesh but also in India. The institute is situated in Mampur, Asti Road, in Lucknow. It offers various management courses in affiliation with AKTU and the University of Lucknow.
At the S. S. Institute of Management, there are various Management courses available, such as BCom and BBA in affiliation with the University of Lucknow and MBA in affiliation with AKTU Lucknow ( Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University) and in approval of AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), and lastly PGDM in approval with AICTE. Admission is based on merit and a state/national-level exam. Candidates can get admission based on marks obtained in Class 12th, Graduation and UPSEE, CAT, MAT, CMAT, AIMA, etc.

S.S. Institute of Management Lucknow provides various Communication and Management courses which include two UG courses BCom and BBA, one course available at the PG level which is MBA, and one at the postgraduate Diploma level, that is PGDM. Admission is primarily based on merit and state and nationally conducted entrance exams. Undergraduate admission will be based entirely on merit. The marks obtained in Class 12th will be the set eligibility criteria for admission. While for Postgraduate and PGD, the admission will depend on a Bachelor’s degree and marks scored in state/ national entrance test.
Candidates will have to maintain a minimum of 45%-50% for their preferred course admission, and if belonging to the reserved category the minimum eligibility percentage will be 40%. For the academic year 2025-26, admissions are taking place. The application form is available in both online and offline modes. For Online, candidates can visit the official website and fill out the application form. And for offline, candidates can collect either directly from the institute or the official website in a soft copy.
Admission will be accepted till the last week of August, i.e., 31 August 2025 (Tentative). If candidates are planning to take admission for MBA and PGDM for the next year at the S.S. Institute of Management, based national test CAT, they are required to appear for the CAT exams, which are going to be conducted soon. Registrations for the CAT began on 1 August 2025.

S.S. Institute of Management Lucknow Admission Eligibility Criteria 2025
S.S. Institute of Management Lucknow provides three programs, which include Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Diploma. The courses include various Management courses such as BCom, BBA, MBA and PGDM. Admission is going to be based on merit and an entrance test conducted at the state and national levels.
UPSEE, CAT, MAT, AIMA, etc, are some of the main exams that need to be cleared to get Admission for MBA and PGDM. Apart from that, the basic criteria are to have a valid score in Class 12th and a Bachelor’s degree. Given below are the detailed eligibility criteria for the provided course.
BCom: Will require passing marks of Class 12th with Commerce or Mathematics, or Economics as one of the mandatory subjects, with at least 45% from a recognised board. Candidates belonging to the reserved section will be accepted at the minimum eligibility percentage of 40%.
BBA: An aggregate of 50% or 45% if a candidate belongs to the reserved category Candidates must have passed the Intermediate / 10+2 level examination or its equivalent in any stream from any recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate.
MBA: The minimum requirement is to have at least 50% (45% of SC/ ST candidates) in a Bachelor’s degree or have a qualified score in UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) conducted by the AKTU.
PGDM: A bachelor’s degree from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% (45% if belonging to the reserved category) and a valid CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ AIMA score.
