S.A. College of Arts & Science (SACAS) was established in 2019 by the Dharma Naidu Educational & Charitable Trust, which was founded under the guidance of (Late) Thiru D. Sudharssanam, MLA. SACAS is situated on a green 3.43-acre campus in Thiruverkadu, Chennai. The scholarships provided by S.A. College of Arts & Science (SACAS) motivates and supports the students in terms of academics, sports, and society. Scholarships cannot be considered as a right but an eligibility-based privilege.
1. SC/ST Scholarship
It is eligible as per the Government norms.
It is provided only for students belonging to the SC/ST category.
Family annual income should be less than INR 2,50,000.
Certificates related to community and income are required.
2. Merit Scholarship
This scholarship is provided based on performance in the 10+2 (Higher Secondary) exam.
Eligible up to a maximum of 20% students of each program.
Provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Continuation Rules (Merit Scholarship)
Merit Scholarships for the second and third years will continue only if students meet certain conditions: they must score at least 75% in all subjects in university exams, maintain 75% attendance each semester, have no arrears, and no disciplinary issues. If any of these conditions are not met, the scholarship will be cancelled, and the student must pay the full college fee. Once cancelled, the scholarship cannot be reinstated.
3. Sports Scholarship
The percentage of sports scholarship will be decided by the Department of Physical Education after student trials, and approved by the Correspondent based on achievements.
Scholarships for the second and third years will continue only if students meet certain conditions: they must represent the college in at least two sports events each semester, maintain a minimum of 75% attendance, have no arrears, and no disciplinary issues.
If these requirements are not met, the scholarship will end, and the student will need to pay the full college fee.
4. Differently Abled Concession
Concessions will be given according to the percentage of disability. Candidates must present a government-issued certificate along with a disability card that specifies the nature and percentage of disability.
