The admission portal for admission to the Rajasthan Institute of Engineering and Technology Bhankrota for the current educational session is open. Candidates interested can visit the official admission portal to fill out the admission form before the deadline. 

Candidates can secure admission at the  UG, PG and PhD levels under the sectors like Engineering, Computer Applications, Business Administration, and Architecture. The courses that the institute provides include B.Tech, BCA, BBA, B.Arch, M.Tech, MCA, and MBA. The fee structure at the UG level ranges between INR 40,000 to INR 1,00,000 while the courses at the PG level can be completed within the fee range of INR 66,500 to INR 85,000 annually. 

Students can also secure admission to the research oriented courses in the departments like  Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering, whose fee structure is INR 200 per month with some extra charges. 

Rajasthan Institute of Engineering and Technology Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026

To secure admission at Rajasthan Institute of Engineering and Technology Jaipur candidates have to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

• For admission to the B.Tech program, candidates are required to secure at least 45% in the class 12th examination with 5% relaxation for the students of the reserved category. Preference is given to the applicant who holds the rank card of JEE Mains.

• For admission to the B.Arch program, candidates have to secure 50% aggregate with 45% for the reserved category.

• To seek admission to the BBA, BCA and MCA programs, candidates are required to get 45% marks in aggregate for general category candidates and 40% for the reserved category. 

• Admission to the M.Tech program is possible if the candidate scores 55% at the bachelor's degree and 50% for the reserved category students. 

• For admission to the PhD courses, candidates must hold 55% aggregate at the PG level. 

• Additionally, the institute also accepts the valid score cards of the national level entrance examinations like JEE Mains and CMAT. 

Rajasthan Institute of Engineering & Technology Jaipur has an active Training and Placement Cell that is constantly working to support students in crafting a strong career by securing their desired job. The cell guides candidates to improve their technical and communication skills, and overall personality by being a part of regular training sessions and development sessions.

To prepare candidates for the interview, workshops, seminars, industry talks, mock interviews and aptitude practice sessions are carried out. The placement team also helps students build a strong resume. They are also encouraged to take part in internships and industrial projects to gain working exposure and experience.

RIET holds a strong placement rate of 80%. More than 300 companies have visited the campus so far for the campus placement drives and over 97 placement drives have been conducted in an academic year. Along with offering educational assistance through various programs, the institute also offers financial assistance to those who need it. There are mainly two categories through which the institute provides eligible candidates with financial assistance. 

Institute Scholarships: It is given to the students by the institute itself and it is based on the 12th-class result of the candidate. The table below provides information about the percentage-wise tuition fee waiver. 

Scholarships by AICTE / Government: Apart from the institute level scholarships, candidates can also receive the following list of scholarships: 

• Pragati Scholarship – This scholarship is given to female applicants only.
• Saksham Scholarship – It is available for candidates who are physically disabled. 
• Prerana Scholarship – This scholarship is for candidates who belong to the SC/ST category and are planning to pursue higher education
• PMSSS Scholarship – It is strictly allotted to the students belonging to the Jammu & Kashmir region. 
• GATE Scholarship – Students who have cleared GATE for admission to the M.Tech program are eligible to receive INR 12,400 per month from the Government of India.
