Pune Institute of Business Management Scholarships 2025

To reduce the financial burden of students for the fees, the Pune Institute of Business Management offers educational loans in collaboration with a number of banks. SBI offers students a simple, collateral-free Scholar Education Loan to help finance their studies. In partnership with Lawrence Technological University (Michigan, US), PIBM's Global MBA program—Joint Degree Dual Program (MBA + PGDM)—offers several merit-based scholarships to qualified candidates.

The Placement Center of the Pune Institute of Business Management’s goal is to bridge the gap between academia and industry, thereby supporting the overall development of its students. It also arranges their summer and winter internships and final placements, provides them with industry connections, and motivates them to engage in a range of activities. 

The PIBM’s winter internship starts after one month of the first semester, and the summer internship starts after two months of the second semester. The final placement, however, starts at the onset of the third semester and continues till the last student is placed. The placement process involves an On-Campus selection process through several different activities, such as Aptitude tests, case study discussions, group discussions on diverse topics, and personal interviews. Students at PIBM have adequate training to handle interviews with companies. In addition to receiving extensive instruction in business theories, case studies, group discussions, classroom presentations, and research projects aimed at gaining specific functional information, PIBM students also participate in mock interviews. They are well-prepared to answer any questions the companies may have.

Over 750 leading companies have partnered with PIBM to hire students in a variety of industries, including Manufacturing, BFSI, IT & ITES, Banking, Insurance, Consumer Durables, FMCG, Retail, E-Commerce, and Financial Services. According to 2023 placement data, real estate and FMCG accounted for 9% of the top 10 sectors in which PIBM students were hired, while consulting and retail received 10% and 7% of the hires, respectively. The placement data for 2025 is yet to be published; however, the data for 2024 shows that the highest salary package was INR 18 LPA, while the average salary package stood at INR 8.83 LPA. The median salary package offered in 2024 was INR 8.15 LPA. The top recruiters of the Pune Institute of Business Management include Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Wipro, Federal Bank, etc.

In 2024, the highest salary package offered was INR 18 LPA, which is slightly higher than the INR 17 LPA offered in 2023. The median salary package stood at INR 8.15 LPA while the Pune Institute of Business Management average package was INR 8.83 LPA in 2024. Although statistics on median salary packages were not available, the average salary package in 2023 was significantly higher at INR 17.1 LPA. Many top companies such as Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Wipro, Federal Bank, etc, were among the recruiters in 2024, while Deloitte, Accenture, KPMG, PWC, Tech Mahindra, etc, were the top recruiters in 2023. Although the precise number of students recruited in 2024 is not specified, more than 450 students were hired in 2023. With over 180 companies taking part in 2023, the number of recruiters was outstanding, demonstrating strong industry linkages and potential.
