NRI Institute of Technology Admission
NRI Institute of Technology admissions are offered to the courses at B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA levels in different specialisations. Admission to the institute requires the state-level entrance examination conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
For admission at the UG level (B.Tech), candidates are required to apply for the AP EAPCET entrance examination conducted by the AP government. Whereas, for the NRIIT PG admission, the students need a valid passing score in the PGECET or GATE entrance test for the M.Tech courses and the MBA courses admission, scoring a qualifying rank or marks in AP ICET is required.
For NRI Institute of Technology MBA admission, applicants need to pay the AP ICET entrance exam application fee of INR 650 (INR 600 for the BC class and INR 550 for the SC and ST category applicants). Applicants are also accepted at the institute on Management quota as per the guidelines of the government of Andhra Pradesh and APSCHE.

NRI Institute of Technology Admission Eligibility Criteria 2025
NRI Institute of Technology admission eligibility criteria vary depending on the course level and the specialisation. For the B.Tech degree courses, candidates are required to hold a minimum qualification of 45% for the general and OBC with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class 12th. However, for admission to the SC and ST category, the institute accepts 40% of the score in 12th with PCM as a major subject from a recognised board. Additionally, a qualifying rank in JEE or AP EAPCET is required for the B.Tech course.
Students who are applying under the Management quota are required to hold a minimum of 50% in class 12th with the relevant subjects.
For the postgraduate courses, students are required to hold a minimum qualifying score of 50% marks at the Undergraduate level in the relevant subject. For the SC, ST and BC category students, 45% of marks in a Bachelor’s degree are acceptable for admission.
For the M.Tech courses, a valid rank in the GATE entrance examination or the APPGCET scores is required. Whereas, for the MBA courses, scores of the AP ICET entrance examination are mandatory.
