NIFT Kolkata Admission
Students can get admission in the institute by clearing its entrance exam. It provides a range of programs, including 4-year undergraduate courses like B.Des and B.F.Tech, and a 2-year postgraduate program, Master of Fashion Management (MFM).
NIFT Kolkata also offers one-year short courses under Continuing Education (CE) and Short Duration Hybrid Programmes. National Institute of Fashion Technology Kolkata Admission Eligibility Criteria 2025
Admission to NIFT Kolkata requires students to clear the NIFT Entrance Exam, which is an online test conducted across India. Depending on the chosen course, students may also need to appear for a Situation Test or a Personal Interview. For B.Des programs, students take two tests: the General Ability Test (GAT) and the Creative Ability Test (CAT). Other courses only require the GAT. Performance in these exams determines admission, and seats are allotted through NIFT Counselling.
