The easiest way to get into NIFT Jodhpur is to crack a two-tier national entrance exam. By facing a creative ability test (CAT), which is all about sketching, colour ideation, and visual problem-solving tasks, followed by a general ability test (GAT) that assesses students' academic grasp and logical reasoning.

The online registration window will open on November 15, 2025; the last date of closing of the application window is on January 6, 2025, with a late-fee extension up to January 9, 2026. Applicants will get a chance to fine-tune their submissions during the correction window, which will start on January 10 and end on January 12, 2026.
The admit card release date will start with the first week of Feb 2026. The NIFT entrance exam (CAT and GAT) will be on February 9, 2026, and those who took it will see stage 1 results in April 2026.
