NIET Greater Noida Admissions
NIET Greater Noida conducts admissions on both the entrance and the merit basis, as conducted by AKTU. The students need to apply for admission through the admissions form available on the official website. The following are the two methods the institute uses for admission of its students:
The admissions are generally done through the UPCET counselling for the B.Tech (or JEE Mains score), MCA, MBA, etc., courses. 85% of the admissions are done through the UPCET counselling at the institute. The direct admissions (for the remaining 15% of seats) are done through the management quota; all applicants need to be early to apply for this role.
For admission to PGDM courses, admissions are done as per the rules defined by the AICTE and the affiliating university. In PGDM, the criteria are defined by the AICTE.

NIET Greater Noida Eligibility Criteria
The institute takes in students on a general admission basis. They need to appear first for the entrance tests and then for a personal interview (PI) round; after that, the final decision for selection is made.
UG courses require students to have at least 45% marks or an equivalent CGPA in 10+2.
To get admitted to the PG courses, students must have secured at least 45% marks in a bachelor’s degree.
For admission to the second year of the B.Tech (lateral entry), a candidate must have passed one year of the Diploma in Engineering course by securing a minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST) marks in mathematics.
The candidate must have passed three years of a Diploma in Pharmacy for admission to the B.Pharma second year (lateral entry).
