The institute takes in students based on merit scores in the first rounds, but the applicants with national-level entrance test scores are given topmost priority, and counselling is done based on that. The NIET Business School follows a set of the following guidelines for admission:
Candidates must have graduated from any accredited Indian university or institution. Students who are seeking the final results for the third year of their graduation programmes are also considered eligible to apply for the PGDM programme.
Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks on an aggregate basis at their graduation level in any stream.
Applicants who have management entrance test scores such as CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, or GMAT (national-level entrance tests) will be given priority for admissions.
5% relaxation is given to the overall marks for the reserved category of students who are applying for admission.
The students need to submit their work experience as well.
Shortlisted students will be called for a personal interview and group discussion as part of the selection process.
At NIET Business School, admissions are not strictly on a “first-come, first-served” basis, so applying late doesn’t mean you’ll lose your chance. However, applying early is always better. It makes the admission process smoother, increases your chances of getting a seat in the PGDM program, and gives you priority for scholarships. Early applicants also enjoy a stress-free and hassle-free experience.
