N.L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research provides full-time and Part-Time PGDM, post-graduate certification, Global MBA, PhD, and Online Learning programs. It is a merit-based admissions process with emphasis on academic achievement, work experience, and leadership potential.
For 2-year full-time PGDM programs, the candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and national-level entrance exam scores valid at the time of passing out from their respective colleges. They are required to go through a personal Interview. Weekend PGDM programs are available for working professionals with a full-time work experience of at least one year.
The Global MBA, with an international study experience, is available for applicants holding a Bachelor's degree and 55% marks from a recognised institution, and admissions follow entrance exam scores. To get admission into the Global MBA, candidates need to go through a personal interview, aptitude test, and academic track record (10th, 12th, and graduation). For the 2025-26 academic session, N.L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, has disclosed the eligibility criteria for the PGDM program in various specialisations.
The 18-month PGDM program for working professionals in Finance, Business Analytics, Marketing, and Human Resources is conducted on weekends. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree of at least three years in duration. Additionally, candidates must be employed with a registered industry or organisation, including central or state government bodies, private/public limited companies, or MSMEs. A minimum of one year of full-time, regular work experience is required.
The eligibility criteria for the Bloomberg Research Analyst program are open to a broad range of professionals, including working professionals, individuals from broking firms, corporate trainees, investment advisers, as well as graduates and postgraduates. Research analysts seeking to enhance their skills are also eligible to apply for this program.
To be eligible for the Global MBA Program, applicants must possess a three- or Four-year Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of 55% (preferably) from a UGC-recognised university, in line with the university's regulations. The institute accepts scores from a variety of entrance exams, including CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, MH-CET, MAT, ATMA, and the N. L. Dalmia Aptitude Test. The eligibility criteria to Open and Distance Learning postgraduate programs in Marketing Management, Financial Management, Global Business Administration, and Human Resource Management include that candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any field from a recognised university. Candidates who are awaiting their final-year examination results may also apply, provided they complete their degree course within the time frame specified by the institute.
For the N. L. Dalmia Institute’s Online Learning courses, including the 2-year PGDM programs in Marketing, Finance, and HR, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university. International or SAARC graduates from accredited institutions are also eligible, provided the Association approves their qualifications from Indian Universities, and they submit an equivalency certificate from the Association. Students in their final year of study may apply, provided they meet the graduation requirements within the time frame specified by the institute.

There are two categories of scholarships provided: Merit-Based Scholarships (MBS) and Inclusivity-Based Scholarships (IBS). One scholarship per student may be awarded under a single category only. Merit-Based Scholarships are given to the top 10% of the batch (a maximum of 42 students), and a waiver of 25% to 100% of the tuition fee, depending on their performance in entrance tests. For example, students with 99th percentile and above marks in CAT/XAT or 785+ in GMAT are given a waiver of the tuition fee of INR 8,25,000. Inclusivity-Based Scholarships are awarded to the top 5% of the batch (up to 21 students), in groups such as Economically Weaker Section, Differently Abled, Sports Excellence, and Alumni/Faculty Ward. The scholarships provide a 20% to 30% fee waiver worth INR 1,65,000 to INR 2,47,500.
