The MediCaps University Indore provides a variety of scholarships to students who are facing financial constraints or difficulties. The University provides different scholarships like Board Toppers Scholarship, District Toppers Scholarship, Meritorious Scholarship, MU-SAT / MLAT Scholarship, Sports Quota Scholarship, Employee Scholarship, and more to meritorious as well as deserving students. Medi-Caps believes in making education accessible to students who belong to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of society. The scholarships offered to the students are based on their scores in the qualifying exam, and candidates whose parents are working as employees in the university. Also, there are some terms and conditions of the MediCaps University that are necessary for the candidates to complete. M.Tech Scholarship
MediCaps University offers a special scholarship for students who rank among the top five in their state board in their respective streams. Such candidates can get a full or partial tuition fee waiver, and in some cases, free accommodation is also provided. To continue this scholarship, candidates need to fulfil the following terms and conditions.
Candidates must have proof of being in the top 5 list of the state in which their school is affiliated. Candidates who have completed 12th grade can currently avail this scholarship scheme.
To continue this scholarship scheme in the 2nd year, candidates must have a CGPA above 9, attendance above 90%, and no involvement in any kind of indiscipline. Along with that, candidates must participate in one of the clubs at the university.
The District Toppers Scholarship is offered to students who are among the top five in their district, particularly from the MP Board. Under this scholarship scheme, candidates can get a tuition fee waiver. However, students must complete the terms and conditions of the university to avail the District Toppers Scholarship.
Students are required to maintain a CGPA of at least 8.5 and 85% attendance to continue receiving the benefit in the following years.
District topper students must submit the topper certificate received from the MP Board / DEO.
Meritorious Scholarships are awarded to students who score 95% or more in their 12th board examinations. Candidates get a 50% reduction in tuition fees. Continuing to avail this scholarship, candidates are required to:
Maintain excellent academic performance, discipline, and attendance above 90%.
The University provides scholarships based on performance in its entrance exams, such as MU-SAT or MLAT. The top-ranking student receives the Chancellor’s Scholarship, while others can get fee waivers of 10% to 25%, depending on their score. The terms and conditions for these scholarships are as follows.
These scholarships are generally applicable only for the first year.
District-topping students must submit the topper certificate received from the MP Board / DEO. The number of scholarships will depend on the eligibility criteria, the recommendation of the Admissions Office, and the approval of the Vice-Chancellor.
The MediCaps University Indore also offers scholarships to its employees. Candidates pursuing a PhD programme from the university can receive a 50% fee waiver, while employees enrolling in other programs can get a 25% reduction in fees. The terms and conditions for this scholarship are as follows:
Students must be full-time employees of the university.
This scholarship is applicable for the full duration of the programme.
Students who have achieved recognition in sports at the state, national, or international level can avail the benefits of this scholarship. In this scholarship, candidates get relaxation in admission requirements and 15% attendance benefits. But for availing this scholarship, candidates:
Must have all relevant documents or certificates for verification at the time of admission.
Along with that, merit relaxation of 15% for international-level players, 10% for national-level players, and 5% for state-level players will be provided against the declared cut-off for admission.
The 10% attendance concession for appearing in examinations shall be applicable only if the student has represented the university at the international, national, or state level.
The Alumni Scholarship is available for MediCaps University alumni and their children. In this scholarship, students get a 25% tuition fee waiver for the first year. Candidates are required to:
Score at least 80% marks or have an 8 CGPA in their qualifying examination.
Also, this scholarship is applicable for 1st year only.
The students who belong to economically weaker backgrounds and have a family income of INR 2 lakh or less per year. Moreover, they should hold a valid BPL card to apply for this scholarship. It provides a total of 25% tuition fee reduction. The students who want to continue this scholarship must maintain a CGPA of 8.5 or above from the second year onward.
MediCaps University provides financial support to the students pursuing M.Tech from the university in the form of monthly stipends. Candidates who have qualified GATE Exam can receive INR 18,000 per month, while the non-GATE students may receive INR 15,000 per month. The terms and conditions include that students are required to assist in teaching for a limited number of hours each week.

If a candidate is eligible for more than one scholarship, they may apply only for the scholarship that is most suitable for them.
The amount and number of scholarships to be awarded will depend on the total number of applications received. However, the decision of the committee shall be final and binding.
The scholarship will be granted upon the submission of the original Transfer Certificate (T.C.) and Migration Certificate.
Scholarships for needy candidates will be awarded to a maximum of 10 applicants; this decision shall rest entirely at the discretion of the Honourable Vice-Chancellor, following the recommendation of the MediCaps University Indore Admission Cell and verification by the Accounts Department.
