Marathwada Mitramandal Institute of Technology Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026

The Marathwada Mitramandal Institute of Technology is a college of Technology that offers admissions in the First Year Engineering (FE) and Direct Second Year Engineering (DSE), and Master of Engineering (ME). Applicants should fulfill the minimum academic criteria and entrance test requirements that have been set by the institute and the government. Eligibility criteria depend on the course and category of the candidate.

FE- Candidates must have passed Class 12 HSC or an equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. One additional subject should be Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, a Technical or Vocational subject, IT, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies. The candidate must have at least 45% marks in total. For reserved category students, the minimum required marks are 40%.

Candidates who have completed a Diploma in Engineering or Technology are also eligible. They must have 45% marks, or 40% for reserved categories. All India candidates must appear for CET or JEE (Main) and should obtain a non-zero score in the entrance examination.

ME - The candidate must be an Indian citizen. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology from an AICTE-approved or government-recognized institute. The candidates need to score at least 50% marks. For reserved categories and persons with disability from Maharashtra, 45% marks are required. The applicants must have a valid GATE score. The sponsored candidates should possess a minimum of two years of full-time employment in a registered organization.

DSE - Students can apply for Direct Second Year Engineering (DSE) if they have completed a Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a recognized institute. Students with a BSc degree with Mathematics are also eligible, but they must clear the Engineering Graphics and Engineering Mechanics subjects. Students with a D.Voc qualification in the same or related field can also apply and must complete a Mathematics bridge course. The student must have at least 45% marks, while reserved category and PwD students from Maharashtra need 40% marks.

Students at MMIT Pune begin preparation for placements in the first year. The Training and Placement Cell also conducts debates, essays, and group discussions so that they can gain confidence and communication skills. In the second year, the students are trained in resume writing, aptitude training, interviewing skills, and personality development.
