Maharana Institute of Technology and Science UG Courses With Fee Structure

Maharana Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) offers a range of UG B.Tech engineering courses in the latest technology. The B.Tech program is designed in such a way the students can fit for the dynamic and ever-changing tech industry. At present, the institute is offering three specialized B.Tech programmes, which include Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science (DS), with 60 seats each. The duration of the courses is 4 years (8 semesters) and the syllabus aims to prepare students by teaching classroom techniques and providing practical experience. These emerging specialized technology curricula contain Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, and Software Development.

The MITS Lucknow charges a B.Tech tuition fee of INR 95,000 per year. Students are further required to pay an annual examination fee of INR 7,500. A one-time registration fee of INR 2,350 is charged only in the first year, but SC/ST candidates are allowed a concessional registration fee of INR 1,150. Because of this, a general-category student is expected to pay a total academic fee of around INR 1,04,850 in the first year, and later from the second year, the fee will be nearly INR 1,02500 per year (excluding university charges, which are payable as per the norms of AKTU).

MITS Lucknow, offers a MBA programme at the postgraduate level. The aim of this MBA course is to produce graduates who are well-versed in managerial leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills that are necessary for a career in business and corporate management. MBA is a course that brings insight into business functions like finance, marketing, human resource management, operations, entrepreneurship, accounting, and a lot of other areas in management fields.

The MBA course is approved for a 60-seat intake and is 2-years (4 semesters) duration. It intends to make students competent for being leaders by strengthening their abilities of communication skills, presentation, problem-solving and resource management. The students are equipped with the knowledge to understand and handle business problems, make strategies, and take managerial decisions by following a multidisciplinary curriculum. The course is also a good fit for one's career enhancement in the areas of finance, marketing, consulting, logistics and supply chain management, sales management, risk management, insurance and entrepreneurship.

The tuition fee for the MBA program is INR 95,000 per annum only. Additional changes include an exam fee is INR 7,500 per year. While taking admission, a one-time registration fee of INR 2350 is charged in the first year only, whereas SC/ST candidates have to pay a reduced registration fee of INR 1,150. As a result of the college fee structure, a regular student is expected to pay around INR 1,04,850 in the first year itself. The amount for the second year is reduced to INR 1, 02,500 but for both years, university charges will be payable separately as per applicable norms.

Additional charge: the college charges an additional fee of INR 7500 per year as an examination fee, a one-time payable registration fee of INR 2,350 (for ST/SC students, it is INR 1150) in the first year only.

Maharana Institute of Technology and Science Hostel and Transport Services

The Maharana Institute of Technology and Science also offers hostel and transportation (bus) services to the students to have a comfortable and convenient campus life. Both of these services are offered separately and can be used based on the individual needs of people.

Hostel Facilities

MITS offers separate boys' and girls' hostels on the college campus. Hostel rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, based on availability. These hostels have a range of facilities that promote the educational and personal development of students. Apart from the students having a common room with a television, several indoor games like table tennis, chess, and carrom are also available with Wi-Fi, RO water, water coolers, heaters, uninterrupted power and water supply, and security arrangements at all times. There is also a gymnasium in the hostel fitted with fitness equipment and trainer support to motivate students to lead a healthy life.

The institute is committed to cleanliness and upkeep of the hostels, while the faculty members periodically review the hostel workings with the support of the student committee. The hostel mess provides clean and balanced food and its menus are discussed with students, caterers and management as well to provide food for all tastes. Students taking hostels are required to pay a yearly hostel fee of INR 55,000.

Transportation (Bus) Services

To facilitate daily commuting from students' locations from various points of the Lucknow district to the college campus, MITS provides bus transportation services. The transport service has been introduced to provide students with a safe and dependable means of transport, thereby facilitating their attendance at classes and activities on the campus without any inconvenience. Students who want to use the transportation services will have to pay a yearly transportation fee of INR 24,000.
