
The KCT Business School is a 19-year-old flagship institute of the KCT Group of Institutions, which is affiliated with Anna University. It provides placement to all eligible students through the Career Development Centre. The centre is led by the Head of the Department (HOD) and supported by the Lead of Corporate Relations and the Career Guidance Centre Team.
Furthermore, the lead of Corporate Relations acts as the main contact person for sharing and receiving all placement-related information and organising placement activities. All the students should attend the Pre-Placement Talk related to their specialisation and job profile.
Interested students will apply in response to the jobs that are announced by the Centre for Corporate & Industry Relations and register themselves with the Chief Career Officer (SA) through MS Forms.
Candidates should update a soft copy of their resume, and a link to their LinkedIn Profile & E-Portfolio of each student should also be given to the Centre for Corporate & Industry Relations.
The students should complete the Registration within the prescribed time limit for each job posting & announcement.
The selection process will depend on their academic performance, placement training assessment, and the recruiter’s requirements.
Interview schedules are also decided by the CIR and will be given to the visiting executives.
Students cannot negotiate with the employer about the salary as it is non-negotiable, unless it is mentioned in the advertisement.
If the students don’t show up for the scheduled interview, they will not be permitted to attend the subsequent 3 placement drives.
Any student with 3 no-shows for the scheduled interview will be completely out of the placement.
If a student is placed and the salary is less than 3 lakhs, another opportunity will be provided to him/her only in their major domain.
In the year 2022-2023 placement season for the MBA batch, they witnessed participation from several diverse companies.
