

The KJ Somaiya College of Engineering also provides different scholarships for supporting the students in their higher education. The KJ Somaiya College of Engineering offers the SVU KJSSE AY 2025-26 B.Tech First Year Merit Scholarship, Industry Sponsored Scholarships for UG, and People United for Students’ Help (PUSH) for UG so that the candidates from the remote areas as well as candidates with poor financial conditions can easily complete their higher education without any inconvenience. For availing the scholarships, candidates need to keep in mind that they are fulfilling the requirements of the university, which are given in the section below along with the eligibility criteria as well as the fee concession for each scholarship.
Graduates who have enrolled for the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programme of the KJ Somaiya College of Engineering can avail the B.Tech First year Merit Scholarship scheme. This scholarship scheme is provided on the basis of the Merit scholarship basis JEE Main or MHT-CET Entrance Examination Percentile Score. Merit scholarships will be given at the time of issue of the offer letter. Candidates need to complete the eligibility criteria for this scholarship scheme, which are as follows:
Only B.Tech applicants will be considered for this scholarship on the basis of the JEE Main 2026 or MHT-CET 2026 entrance exam percentile.
20% of the total admission seats will be considered for merit scholarships. Students scoring more than the 95th percentile in JEE Main 2026 or MHT-CET 2026 will be considered for merit scholarships in streams like CSE and AIDS. Students scoring more than the 90th percentile in JEE Main 2026 or MHT-CET 2026 will be considered for merit scholarships in streams like IT, CSBS, RAI, EXTC, CCE, EXCP, MECH and VLSI Tech.
The scholarship percentage and number of seats may vary within the approved scholarship budget, depending on the applicant pool and score range.

Under the Industry Sponsored Scholarships for UG programmes, 3 schemes are included, which are MTA Bluestar scholarships, JSW Scholarships, and Ramlal Khetawat Scholarship. These scholarships are provided to reduce the burden of the fees on the students from financially weaker sections of society. Mohan T. Advani Centennial Scholarships are designed for supporting the economically challenged and academically deserving students, helping them find professional/technical programmes, and preparing them for their professional lives. The Blue Star Foundation supports scholars by providing them with financial support with mentoring and internship opportunities as well as soft skills training. Candidates who get the benefit of this scholarship scheme will get INR 75,000 or 50% of the annual fees (whichever is less). The eligibility criteria for this scholarship scheme are as follows:
Candidates must be in the 2nd year of a degree programme in engineering.
Candidates are required to have a minimum of 80% marks in Class 10th and 12th for 1st-year students as well as 75% of marks for the 2nd-year students.
Students who have enrolled in KJSSE are eligible to apply.
Applicants’ annual family income must be less than INR 6 lakh and candidates should not avail themselves of the beneficiaries of any other scholarship scheme.
Candidates must maintain a 7.5 CGPA score throughout the scholarship period.
Old Scholars who want to continue the benefit of this scholarship also need to complete the above eligibility criteria.

The JSW Scholarship scheme is presented by the JSW Foundation in association with Vidyassarthi. The aim of this scholarship is to make education accessible to deserving students. This scholarship scheme is communicated through mail between July and September. Once selected, the scholarship will continue till the student's final year, subject to good academic performance. To avail of this scholarship scheme, candidates must be in the 1st or 2nd year in any of the following departments: Department of Computer Engineering, Department of Electronics Engineering, Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Department of Information Technology.
Candidates need to have the following documents for the JSW Scholarship scheme.
Annual Family Income Certificate of INR 8 lakh
Academic Performance Documents like the 10th and 12th marksheets, along with the graduation marksheets.
The Ramlal Khetawat Scholarship scheme was introduced by Shri Swadesh Khetawat in the name of his father, Shri Ramlal Khetawat. To avail the Ramlal Khetawat Scholarship scheme, candidates must be in the 2nd year or final year from any of the following departments: Department of Computer Engineering, Department of Electronics Engineering, Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Information Technology and Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering.
The people united for student’s help is the social initiative of the KJ Somaiya College of Engineering, which is formed with the motive to help the needy students who are not in the situation to continue their studies in the KJ Somaiya College of Engineering. Under this scheme, the university has helped 120+ students by providing the financial aid of over 60 lakhs, and the funds are collected annually from employees, students, alumni and well-wishers.
