Joy University is established in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, which is a few kilometres from Kanyakumari. The university was established in 2022, under the Tamil Nadu State Private University Act 2019, recognised by the University Grants Commission(UGC). Joy University Admission
Joy University, Tirunelveli, has started taking admission in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the academic year 2025. For admission to four-year full-time B.Tech courses, a candidate should have passed ClassXII with an aggregate of 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics. Joy University admission is based on the Joy University Scholastic Aptitude Test (JOYAT). Additionally, in some courses, the University also accepts national-level(JEE Main/CUET) entrance exams. For admission to postgraduate courses like MBA, candidates should have passed a bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 60% marks. Candidates' final admission depends on the program, and final selection is based on candidates' academic profile, JOYAT score, and national-level(GATE/CAT/MAT/TANCET/CUET-PG) exams. MBA admissions may also include a personal interview round. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for counselling or interviews, depending on the program.

Joy University Triunelveli Eligibility Criteria 2025
Joy University offers various UG programs for the academic year 2025-26. For 3-year B.Com program requires students to have passed Class 12 or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% marks and a valid scorecard of the JOYAT exam.
The Pharmacy (4 years) and Nursing (4 years) programs require a Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths, and English, 60% aggregate, 50% in each subject, and the candidate must be at least 17 years old. The
B.Sc. and B.Sc. Optometry is a 4-year full-time course, requires candidates to have passed Class 12 with Biology/related subjects, Physics, Chemistry, and English, with an aggregate of 60% marks and 50% marks for each subject along with a JOYAT exam scorecard is compulsory.
For the 4-year B.Design program in Fashion, Transportation, and Automobile Design that requires candidates should have completed Class 12 with an aggregate of 60% marks and 50% marks is needed in each subject, along with a valid scorecard in a national-level exam like NIFT, UCEED, PUEE, or JOYAT.

Joy University Triunelveli Scholarships 2025
Joy University offers scholarships through the Joy University Scholastic Aptitude Test (JOYAT) to support meritorious students. Candidates can avail a tuition fee waiver throughout their course, based on their academic performance in Class X and Class XII, & JOYAT scorecard. Candidates securing 90% and above in JOYAT with a minimum of 80% in Classes X and XII are eligible for a 25% tuition fee waiver. Those with 80% and above in JOYAT and at least 75% in Classes X and XII receive a 20% waiver, while students scoring 70% and above in JOYAT with 70% in Classes X and XII are eligible for a 15% waiver.
