The university considers admissions through the entrance test scores like JEE (for BTech), GATE (for MTech), CUET (for BCA/MCA), CAT/XAT/CMAT/JRE/GMAT/JRF (for MBA) in the first round and then a personal interview (PI) round and final selection is made based on the overall score calculation.
The relaxation in aggregate marks is given to the weaker students (SC/ST/DA/disabled students) taking admissions. Even if the candidate is able to pass the first round of admissions through merit-based criteria, if he fails the personal interview round, he is considered non-qualified for the final admissions at JECRC University. The general eligibility criteria for academic qualifications range from 55-60% in the aggregate marks. Completion of Class 12 with a minimum of 60% marks in all subjects with English, physics & mathematics & one subject out of the chosen subjects in the chosen streams from a recognised Indian Board of Education (CBSE, state boards, ICSE) is required for UG admission.
Postgraduate Courses require at least 60% marks in a bachelor’s degree from a recognised Board of School Education or equivalent.
To be eligible for doctoral courses, students must have secured at least 55% marks in a Master’s Degree OR equivalent from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in the relevant discipline (50% for reserved category students).
Note: Relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum eligibility criteria is given to the candidates who belong to SC/ ST/ Rajasthan state OBC Non-creamy layer/women category. Preference shall be given who have valid scores in national-level entrance tests like JEE/ CAT/ CMAT/ NEET 2025.

For PG Programs for which relevant entrance exams under CUET-PG 2025 are conducted, the priority will be given to the merit in CUET-PG 2025, and the second priority will be given to the merit in the qualifying examination.
For MBA Programs, a merit list is prepared based on the scores in CAT/ MAT/ XAT 2025 as first preference, with seats remaining vacant based on merit in the qualifying exam. However, a Group Discussion (GD) and Interview shall be conducted before the merit list is prepared, and candidates failing to qualify for this assessment will not be admitted even if they fall on the merit list.
The university follows a three-step process, including the entrance test, followed by group discussions and a personal interview. If the students have any national-level entrance test scores (GRE/ GM/ JRF), they do not need to appear for the entrance test and go directly to the second round of admissions. Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in a Master’s Degree OR equivalent from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in the relevant discipline (50% marks required for OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD category.
A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India shall be eligible for admission to the PhD Program in Management and Commerce discipline, but would be required to appear and qualify for the Entrance Examination conducted by the University.
However, candidates having a valid UGC-CSIR JRF / NET qualifications are exempted from appearing in the Entrance Test.
Foreign students shall be registered for admission in the Doctor Programme leading to Ph.D. degree only if they have a valid research visa (for India) issued by the Indian Government for a minimum period of 3 years and up to o minimum of 2 years or more.

Applications for admission are submitted through the online admission section of the official website of JECRC University.
The applicants must pay an application fee of INR 850 while submitting the admission application for the undergraduate and postgraduate course programmes, and INR 1500 while submitting the same for the doctoral course programmes.
