Institute of Management Bhubaneswar offers an AICTE-approved full-time PGDM course for a minimum span of two years. The PGDM course is available in several Management specialisations, such as Marketing, Financial, Human Resource, Logistics and Supply Chain, Retail, Information Systems, Operations, and Business Analytics.
Admission is conducted based on merit and state/national-level entrance exams. Selection is based on the Group Discussion and Personal Interview conducted by IMB. To be eligible for admission, students must have completed their bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks. A valid score of any one of the entrance exams, namely, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ OJEE, is also required.
At the time of admission, candidates are required to pay some charges payable to the institute to confirm the seat. The total course fee is INR 2,00,000 (excluding application form fees, security deposit, hostel charges, etc.), which candidates are required to pay in two equal instalments.

Admission to the IMB is conducted based on academic score and state/national-level entrance exam scores. Some of the accepted entrance exam scores include CAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ OJEE or MAT. To enrol for the PGDM course, applicants are required to meet certain eligibility standards set by the institute. Candidates are required to have basic educational qualifications at the UG level. A minimum of 50% in a bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognised university/ institute is mandatory. Applicants belonging to the reserved category are eligible if they hold a minimum score of 45% in a bachelor’s degree.
