Institute of Cooperative Management (ICM) is a public government institute established in 1965. ICM Dehradun was started as a training centre for middle-level managers working in cooperative institutions and related government departments. In 2006, the institute started the MBA program, which is affiliated with Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun. Later in 2011, the BBA program was started, and affiliated with Sri Dev Suman Uttarakhand University, Tehri Garhwal.
ICM Dehradun provides multiple courses for students and working professionals. Students can opt for professional courses like BBA and MBA. People working in cooperative departments can join a long-term diploma course (HDCM) through distance learning with some classroom sessions. The institute also provides 12-week certificate courses for Defence personnel in areas like Industrial Cooperation, Sales, and Retail Management. Two new DGR-approved courses in Entrepreneurship Development and Digital Marketing have also been added. Along with this, the institute provides short-term training on topics like dairy, fisheries, women’s self-help groups, youth programs, cyber safety, and digital tools. ICM Dehradun offers scholarships for SC, ST, and OBC students through the Samaj Kalyan Vibhag. This helps eligible students get financial support for their education.
The institute has modern buildings and state-of-the-art facilities. ICM Dehradun is equipped with an office block, training rooms, air-conditioned classrooms, a library, and a conference hall. All the courses at the institute are residential, which means students stay on campus during the program. ICM Dehradun Admission
Institute of Cooperative Management Dehradun, offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in BBA and MBA. Admission for the BBA program is currently open, and students who have passed Class 12 with at least 45% marks can apply. Applicants must secure at least 50% in their graduation to be eligible for the MBA program. Admission to the MBA course is based on entrance exams like MAT, CAT, or UKSEE. The last date to register for the MAT Paper-Based Test (PBT) is 15 September 2025, and for the Computer-Based Test (CBT), it is 22 September 2025. The last date to register for the CAT exam is 13th September 2025, and the exam will be held on 30 November 2025. To apply for MAT, candidates must pay INR 2200 for PBT or CBT. To take both tests, students need to pay INR 3800.
