Students who want to participate in the summer placements as well as summer internships will be determined by the following factors:
Admission Fees Payable as on Date, and Other dues are cleared in full.
Resumes don’t deviate from the format mentioned.
Students need to have a minimum of 75% attendance so that they can take part in the grooming and mentoring sessions organised by the Institute.
Next is the brief explanation of the placement process through which students get placed in some of the top companies in their preferred domain.
The placement process is an organised process through which students get internships related to their course or get placed in some of the leading companies in India or the World. Below is a brief explanation of the steps involved in the placement process:
The Placement Cell at iFEEL creates a calendar related to the pre-placement talks and other events related to the placement process. Invitations are sent to the companies, and students are also told about the timings related to the pre-placement talks. Those students who fail to be on time will not be allowed to take part in any other placement activities.
Students who are interested to apply in any of the companies that took part in the pre-placement drive must apply within a stipulated period. They can apply to multiple companies but they can sit for a maximum of 5 final interviews. Once a student gets a job offer from a company they cannot apply to any other companies on the campus.
Students have the right to refuse a job offer only upto 5 companies. After 5 refusals the students have no choice as far as applications to the companies is concerned.
Eligible students would be given opportunities to apply for companies that offer a compensation of more than INR 10 LPA and companies that give International placements, even if they placed through the campus earlier or secured an offer in India under INR 10 LPA.
Students are not allowed to negotiate salary, or any other service condition with the company, in cases where company has already announced the pay package.
Students need to keep in touch with the placement cell as many companies sent the job letter several months after the placement drive. However, if they face any discrepancy in the offer letter as to what was communicated earlier, the student should keep the placement cell in the loop about it.
