Indira School of Business provides a wide range of courses, such as Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA). Students can choose specialisations such as Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Operations & Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, International Business, and more. Normally, the university's admission cycle starts for the next academic session, and aspirants have to apply online via the official website.
For the application, the students need to fill out the online application form and complete the payment of the non-refundable application fee of 1000 for postgraduate programs (and 600 for UG programs as per general practice). To pursue an MBA program, students must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in graduation (45% for reserved categories) and a valid score in the entrance tests approved by the university, such as IUCET (PG), CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAH MBA CET, or CUET PG. Indira School of Business Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026 are fundamentally ensuring that students admitted to various programs are academically qualified, have the right business aptitude, and are prepared for a professional business education.
To be eligible for the BBA program, a candidate should have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination of a recognised board with English as a compulsory subject. Moreover, students from all streams, i.e., Arts, Commerce or Science, can apply, and those with vocational or diploma qualifications after Class 10+2 are admitted as per the university regulation.
The admissions are generally done based on merit or student’s performance in the relevant entrance and university-level tests. For the MBA program, graduation in any discipline from a UGC-approved university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% as per the applicable regulations) is required.
A valid score on one of the accepted entrance tests, i.e., a non-zero score in IUCET (UG) / All State CET / MHCET / any National Level CET / any CET relevant to the program or CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, MAH MBA CET, CUET PG, or the university's IUCET (PG), and a compulsory mark is used to finalise the merit list.
Final-year graduating students can apply on a provisional basis and provide evidence of the completion of their studies before the start of the academic session. Work experience is not mandatory, but having relevant professional exposure could be a plus during the selection process, which might also include rounds of group discussion and personal interviews.
There is no maximum age limit. The candidates who are shortlisted have to undergo document verification and eligibility compliance within the prescribed admission timeline to confirm their seat.

There are various scholarships offered by the university. Some of them are merit-based scholarships, sports scholarships, Economical Weaker Section (EWS) Scholarship, and many more.
Merit-Based Scholarship- Category 1
This scholarship offers a 50% fee waiver in total academic/tuition fees per year for the entire program duration, upto 1% student intake.
Merit-Based Scholarship- Category 2
This scholarship gives a 25% fee waiver on the total tuition/academic fee each year, or for the whole program. It is available to up to 2% of the total student intake.
Criteria for the Above Scholarship
Merit scholarships are given based on entry-level performance. For UG programs, 50% weightage is given to HSC marks, and for PG programs, 50% is given to graduation marks. The other 50% comes from the entrance exam score. To continue the scholarship in the following years, students must maintain a CGPA of 8 or above.
Sports Scholarship
Sports scholarships are given to deserving athletes based on their participation or winning prizes in recognized national or international sports events. Any student who competes or wins a medal at West Zone, All India, national, or international competitions—while studying at Indira University or representing a government-recognized sports body—is eligible for this scholarship.

Economical Weaker Section (EWS) Scholarship
This scholarship offers 50% relief in the fee for up to 10% of students who belong to EWS, irrespective of their caste.
Dr. Tarita Shankar Girls Scholarship
This scholarship gives a partial tuition fee waiver based on merit for each year of the program, with a maximum of 2.5% of the total number of girls admitted. This scholarship is available only for girls who belong to the EWS category.
Scholarship for Disabled Persons
These scholarships can be availed for disabled students who have a 100% tuition fee waiver, with 1% of seats for each program.
Scholarship to the Wards of Martyrs
These scholarships are for the wards of defence personnel. With 50% concession on the tuition fee in all programs, for the continuation of scholarships, successive students must have a GPA of more than 8.
Ph.D. Research Assistant Fellowship
These scholarships are for PhD research projects for students with a sum of INR 10,000/- each for merit students, as per the duration. And the final decision was taken by the scholarship committee.
