IMS Design and Innovation Academy conducts its own entrance exam for admission in BDes and BSc. The entrance exam was held on 23rd April 2025. The minimum eligibility criteria for pursuing a bachelor's degree are the completion of class 12 with a minimum qualifying mark from a recognised board.
If the student is interested in pursuing any course at the postgraduate level should have completed their graduation degree as the minimum eligibility criteria. Short-term or certificate courses require a minimum eligibility of Class 12 from a recognised board.
A student who wants to pursue any course in IMS Design and Innovation Academy has to pay the registration fee of INR 1200 for each course or the application the student applies to.

Step 5- students then have to take a psychometric test. This test is essential if the students are not sure what course or program they want to pursue in the IMS Design and Innovation Academy. Students are advised to answer the questions honestly, as based on the score obtained in the test, the student will be advised the course they should apply for, which is more aligned with their goals.
Step 6- After filling out the application form, the students are required to appear in the entrance test. To prepare for the entrance test, the students are required to prepare on subjects like rational questioning, general knowledge self self-expression, design aptitude, and English.
