IIMT Group of Colleges invites admission to a variety of UG, PG, and Diploma courses in fields such as Engineering, Management, Computer Applications, Marketing, Finance and Pharmacy. The admission into the IIMT Group of Colleges is mainly based on entrance examinations followed by personal interviews conducted by the official authorities of the university.

To be eligible for B.Tech. programs, students need to complete their 12th class with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and one optional subject like Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Biology with at least 45% of marks. Candidates also need to take the JEE Main or CUET recognised entrance exam to gain admission into B.Tech programs. Students who already have a diploma will have an option for lateral entry with a minimum of 50% of total marks.

To be eligible for PG programs such as MBA or MCA, students will need to hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and have taken MAT or CAT or CUET entrance examinations along with their Bachelor’s degree. The IIMT Group of Colleges also provides Diploma in Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Automobile Engineering, and Production & Maintenance Engineering. Entrance to these diploma courses will follow the JEECUP entrance examination.

The method to apply for the admissions is by following the procedures published on the official website. Students who are interested can fill out the admissions application form, upload required documents and pay a INR 2000 non-refundable registration fee through the online payment methods (credit card, debit card, net banking).

To get admission into the IIMT Group of Colleges, Greater Noida, the entry-level requirements depend on the program and level of study chosen by the candidate. In addition, some basic academic requirements are similar for all courses.

For B.Tech programs, students need to have completed Class 12th or an equivalent from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and one of the following subjects as mandatory subjects with one of the following subjects Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Biology, with at least 45% . Admission mainly depends on entrance test scores like JEE Main and CUET, and the selection process is managed through application followed by personal interview (PI) whereas for admission to the B.Tech in CE, ME, and ECE Lateral Entry, candidates must have Diploma in Engineering with 50% of marks.

For M.Tech and other postgraduate programs, applicants need to have a Bachelor's degree in a related subject with a minimum of 55% marks, and also require a CUET entrance exam scorecard.

Furthermore, for admission in Diploma programmes at the IIMT Group of Colleges, candidates need to complete their 10th and 10+2 in any stream with 35% of marks. All applications need to be submitted through the official website of IIMT Group of Colleges, and admissions are based on the JEE CUP entrance examination.

The integrated part of the IIMT Group of Colleges, which is IIMT College of Engineering, is ranked between 151-300 in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings for 2023 as well as this, the university has also secured the 55th position for the BA programme in 2018 and in 2024-25 the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) of the Govt. of India has ranked the IIMT College of Engineering in 4th place. IIMT Group of Colleges is responsible for distributing an amount of INR 3 Crores every year in the form of scholarships to its deserving students. The Scholarship is primarily based on the student's academic performance. Students who have performed extremely well or hold a rank in the particular course or branch are eligible for the scholarship. The recipients of the scholarships get financial aid from the institutes. These scholarships help reduce the financial stress for those students who are unable to pay for their education.
