During the Personal Interview, candidates have to achieve a minimum performance standard in all aspects. The ones who fail to meet the standard will be eliminated and will not proceed to the final stage.

Stage 4: Final Selection

Final selection is done by the academic areas, which weigh the factors of a candidate's performance in the PI and the needs of each department. A merit list is created, and provisional admission offers are extended to the selected candidates.

The IIM Indore Admission Committee is the sole authority in charge of all decisions concerning admission to the EDPM.

IIM Indore EDPMG Admission Details

The Executive Doctoral Programme in Management and Governance (EDPMG) is a research-based learning program in Management and Governance, which is designed for professionals who have experience and want to extend their knowledge.

Students hone their analytical and leadership qualities through the support of the faculty of experts, cooperative peer learning, and actual research work. The program instills the practice of questioning, studying, and adding to the general knowledge among its participants, who are then well-equipped to make decisions based on sound judgment and lead with effectiveness and clarity.

IIM Indore EDPMG Areas of Specialisation

The EDPMG program at IIM Indore provides research focus areas for doctoral students as follows:

Information Systems (including Emerging Technologies and Data Analytics)

Eligibility Criteria for EDPMG at IIM Indore

Applicants must, as per the application deadline, have at least 5 years of work experience (pay band Level 11 or above as per the 7th CPC) of an officer in the Indian Administrative Services or Indian Armed Forces.

Besides, applicants have to satisfy one of the following academic prerequisites:

They should hold a Master’s degree in any discipline with not less than 60% of the total marks or an equivalent GPA.
In case of a Postgraduate Diploma (2 years) the minimum marks required are 60% or an equivalent GPA.
Professional qualifications like CA, ICWA, or CS should have been completed with at least 50% marks.
If it is an integrated Master's degree of five years in any field, the candidate should have secured not less than 60% of the total marks or the equivalent GPA.
First-class/equivalent Bachelor's degree (4 years / 8 semesters) should be the candidate's academic background.

Besides those mentioned above, candidates must have at least 60% in Class X or Class XII, with second-class marks in the other.

IIM Indore Admission Process for EDPMG:

If candidates meet the academic eligibility criteria mentioned above, they may apply through the online mode for the EDPMG program at IIM Indore. Based on their academic records, RAT scores, and personal interviews, candidates will be shortlisted from the pool of applicants after the submission of applications.

The RAT will be a test of quantitative skills, verbal ability, and research aptitude of candidates, and it will be held on April 19, 2025. Based on their performance in the RAT, candidates will be shortlisted for a personal interview at IIM Indore.

Those who successfully pass through both rounds will be sent an admission offer for the program, the start date of which is around the middle of July 2025. The IIM Indore admission committee is solely responsible for all admission decisions.
