Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Jabalpur (IIITDM Jabalpur) was established in 2005 and declared an Institute of National Importance in 2014 under the IIIT Act. Since its inception, the institute has earned national and international recognition for providing high-quality education and research at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels, with a unique focus on the integration of design, technology, and manufacturing.

IIITDM Jabalpur Admission
The admission process for the B.Tech program at IIITDM Jabalpur is based on the JEE Main examination, followed by JoSAA or CSAB counselling. Some seats are also filled through DASA, SII, and UCEED (for B.Des admissions). Ph.D. admissions are conducted through an institute-level entrance exam followed by an interview. The selection process takes place in June, and reporting is scheduled for August. The total fee of the PhD program is INR 4,04,500.

IIITDM Jabalpur Eligibility Criteria
Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM) Jabalpur offers B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Des, and Ph.D. programs in disciplines such as Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, and Design. Admissions are based on national-level entrance exams, with specific eligibility criteria for each program.
For B.Tech, candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and possess a valid JEE Main score. B.Des admissions require a valid UCEED score, with final selection through JoSAA/CSAB counselling.
M.Tech applicants must have a B.E./B.Tech degree with at least 60% marks or 6.0 CPI and a valid GATE score. Allocation of seats for the M.Tech program is through CCMT counselling. Part-time M.Tech is also available for working professionals with five years of relevant experience, where GATE is not mandatory.
For admission to M.Des, a 4-year B.Tech/B.Des or degree equivalent with at least 60% marks and a valid GATE or CEED score is required. Seats are divided between GATE and CEED qualified candidates.
Ph.D. aspirants must have a master’s degree with at least 60% marks or 6.0 CPI and a valid GATE, CEED, NET, or equivalent score. Selection involves a written test and an interview. Direct Ph.D. admission is also available for top-performing B.Tech graduates from CFTIs.
IIITDM Jabalpur Placement 2025
IIITDM Jabalpur had a successful placement season in 2024–25, with over 346 offers made by more than 95 companies. Around 71.18% of students secured packages above INR 10 LPA. The highest domestic and international package offered was INR 87.54 LPA and INR 80 LPA, with a total of 13 international offers.
The highest salary offered for the B.Tech program in CSE and ECE specialisations is INR 87.54 LPA and INR 70 LPA, respectively. B.Tech (CSE) achieved around 74% placement rate, followed by ECE, which has a total rate of 52%. Mechanical and Smart Manufacturing branches recorded placements of 38% and 52%.
Top recruiters included Adobe, Amazon, Google, Cisco, Infosys, Intel, Deloitte, and TCS. Overall, IIITDM Jabalpur continued its strong placement trend, especially in core technical disciplines.
IIITDM Jabalpur Scholarship 2025
IIITDM Jabalpur offers several scholarships and financial aid programs for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Merit-cum-Means (MCM) scholarships are awarded to up to 25% of B.Tech students with family income below INR 2.5 lakh per annum, including a tuition waiver and a stipend of INR 1,000 per month. SC/ST students receive full tuition waivers regardless of MCM eligibility.
Postgraduate students, including M.Tech and Ph.D. scholars, receive institute-funded assistantships with monthly stipends for teaching or research work.
