IES Management College and Research Centre is a private institute located in Bandra West, Mumbai. It was established in 1998, and its programs are approved by AICTE and accredited by NBA. The college offers courses like PGDM, PGDM-PM, PhD, and the Management Development Program. Admissions are based on entrance exams and candidate profiles. For PGDM admission, all the candidates must have completed their bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks from a recognised university. While a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, and other Life Sciences with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent degree is required for admission to PGDM in Pharmaceutical Management.

Along with this, a valid score of any one of the following entrance exams is also required, such as CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ MAH-CET. Selection to this program is based on a Personal Interview. 

The PhD in Management Studies is also available at IES MCRC with affiliation from Mumbai University. Admission to the PhD is based on the PhD Entrance Test (PET) conducted by the University of Mumbai. Candidates must hold a master’s degree and qualify for NET, JRF, or SET, as per the university norms.

IES’s Management College and Research Centre Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates who want to pursue these programs must meet the eligibility requirements, which are mentioned below:  

PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management)

Aspirants must have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks from a recognised university. Students who have appeared for any of the following exams are also eligible to apply, such as CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT or MH-CET.

PGDM-Pharmaceutical Management (PGDM-PM)

The applicants must possess a graduate degree in Pharmacy, Engineering, Science or Medicine with at least 50% marks. Final-year graduation students are also eligible to apply, but they need to show proof of completion of their degree before 31st October 2026. Applicants with backlogs are not eligible to apply. Selection is based on students’ entrance exam scores, such as CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT or MH-CET.

PhD in Management Studies

Candidates must have completed their MPhil and cleared the PhD Entrance Test (PET). Admission is typically based on the NET, SET, and JRF entrance test and a personal interview. 

Professional Certificates

A bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks is mandatory for this program, and admission is based on the candidate’s profile evaluation. 

The placement season 2025 at IES MCRC is very successful. The placement cell at IES MCRC was extremely pivotal in providing the students with the skills development programs, mock interviews and internships. Summer Internships and pre-placement offers were also provided by multinational companies like Morgan & Stanley, Zuventus Health Limited and more.

The institute’s placement process attracts a large number of recruiters from different industries. For the PGDM batch, the placement performance remained strong with participation from over 200 companies across sectors such as BFSI, consulting, IT, FMCG, pharma and e-commerce. 

The average salary for the PGDM students is around INR 8.8 LPA, while for the PGDM (PM) students it is about INR 7.2 LPA. For the 2024–26 batch, the average summer internship stipend offered was INR 10,000 for PGDM students and about INR 8,000 for PGDM (PM) students. IES’s Management College and Research Centre Scholarships 

IES’s Management College and Research Centre Mumbai, offers scholarships to support and encourage students who perform well in their academics and entrance exams. These scholarships are designed in a manner so that it will help students to reduce the tuition fee burden and motivate them to maintain strong academic performance throughout the course.

For the PGDM program, the institute provides a Merit Scholarship. Under this scheme, the top 10 students in the institute’s merit list are awarded a tuition fee waiver of INR 1,25,000. To be eligible, students must also have scored at least 85 percentile in entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, or CMAT. The waiver will cover the second year, provided the student scores 75% in the first year. The college management is in charge of ultimate scholarship decisions.

However, for the PGDM-PM program, there is a merit-based scholarship at IES MCRC for the PGDM in Pharma Management program that provides a tuition fee waiver of INR 1,25,000 to the top 5 students who have been admitted or selected based on their merit. To maintain the scholarship in the second year, students have to achieve an average of 75% in the first year, participate in international activities of study, extra-curricular activities and maintain a good code of conduct without any disciplinary issues.
