The Institute of Clinical Research India (ICRI) was established in 2004 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. It was established with a vision to empower India’s workforce and equip students with ways to overcome the challenges of the job market. The institute has a pan-India presence and collaborates with the leading institutions across the country. There are no accreditations listed on the official website, but ICRI Dehradun has Himgiri Zee University as an affiliated partner.
ICRI Dehradun offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD courses in its Dehradun Campus. It includes courses such as BBA, BA, B.Sc, MBA and M.Sc. Along with this, the institute also provides PhD courses such as a PhD in Psychology, Public Health, and more.
The sprawling campus provides hostel facilities, labs, a library, a cafeteria, a gym, a Wi-Fi campus, an auditorium, a convenience store, and a sports complex that provides a badminton & basketball court, a cricket ground, and a tennis court. The ICRI Dehradun provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs, and a specialised course for the Dehradun Campus. For the academic year 2025, admission is ongoing, and the last date to fill out an application form is October 2025 (Tentative).
Some of the courses offered include BA, BBA, BSc, MBA, and M.Sc. These courses are offered in different specialisations, such as Psychology, Supply Chain Management, etc. For UG admission, candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% to 60% marks in Class 12th. They should also have the minimum marks in subjects such as Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biotechnology, Nursing, or Statistics, especially for the MSc in Clinical Research & Data Science.
The institute also offers PhD courses, such as a PhD in Healthcare Management, Public Health, Clinical Research, and Psychology. The duration of the PhD is between 3 and 5 years. Candidates who have a Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in any stream are eligible for a PhD.

Candidates who are applying for any of the undergraduate, postgraduate, or PhD programs should fulfill the criteria given below:
Candidates who want to apply for the UG courses must have completed their Class 12 with at least 50 marks.
For postgraduate courses, candidates must have scored at least 50% to 60% marks in their bachelor’s degree. Along with this, candidates need to have a valid score from exams such as CAT, XAT, MAT, or CMAT.
For the MSc in Clinical Research & Data Science, candidates must have a minimum percentage in subjects such as Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biotechnology, Nursing, or Statistics.
To be eligible for PhD course, candidates should have a master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
ICRI Dehradun boasts of 100% placement for its students in various courses. It offers students various employment & career opportunities. During the placement drive 2022-23, the highest CTC offered to the students was INR 12 LPA. Some of the top recruiters that visit the campus for recruitment include Bioexcel, Accenture, Tata, Zara, Lufthansa, Lupin, AstraZeneca Ltd, Parexel, and more.
Currently, the ICRI does not provide any kind of scholarship to students. Basically, the scholarships are offered based on merit and financial need, with 100% tuition fee waivers through its programs or entrance exams.
