I Business Institute Admission Overview
For admission to the 2026–2028 academic year, the IBI provides a two-year full-time PGDM program that is trimester-based. The program offers dual specialisations in a number of areas such as international business, human resource management, finance management, marketing management, information technology, business analytics, family business and entrepreneurship, and operations and supply chain management.
Applicants who are willing to take admission can apply online or offline. For online, students must complete the application form within the given time. Although candidates need to be eligible for admission. The minimum eligibility criteria for admission require a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks in any discipline from a recognised university or institute. Students who have not completed their bachelor's degree but are pursuing their final year are also eligible to apply, provided they have to submit their results with 50% marks within the time specified by the institute. Apart from the academic results, candidates must also have valid marks in any of the following CAT, XAT, MAT, and CMAT exams.

Students must be eligible to be admitted to the PGDM program. The following lists the requirements for admission to the IBI:
To be admitted to the PGDM program, Students must have a minimum 3-year bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in any stream from a recognised university, institute, or board. Final year students of a graduation degree are also eligible to apply.
Along with this entrance exam (CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT), a screening round, a panel interview and a Dean’s/Director’s interview are required
