Hindustan College of Science and Technology is offering various scholarships to help students reduce their education expenses and encourage them to achieve academic excellence. These scholarships are available for students who are a part of the institution and have enrolled in courses such as B.Tech, MBA, MCA, BBA, and BCA. The institution rewards meritorious students through Merit-Based Scholarships, while special schemes like the Vidushi Scholarship are available to support and encourage female students. HCST also provides financial assistance to the children of employees through the Employee Ward Scholarship.
Additionally, students belonging to the defence family, sports professionals, students with achievements, and siblings of existing students can avail the benefit through tuition fee concessions. To promote community involvement, the Community Support Scholarship rewards students, faculty, and staff who refer new admissions to the institution. 1. Merit Scholarship:
The Merit Scholarship will be awarded based on the merit of candidates in the qualifying exam from the 2nd year onward and will be continued only if the scholar secures the minimum eligible marks in the last qualifying exam. In case any applicant does not score the minimum marks in the first year, the scholarship will be cancelled for the next year, and once cancelled, it cannot be renewed for the next year under any circumstances. In addition to this, to avail the merit scholarship, applicants need to meet the minimum class attendance, semester-wise, in the first year/or the qualifying year. The merit scholarship is divided into three categories, which are given below.
A. Merit Scholarship (Schedule A): In the Merit scholarship, the fee concession is provided to the students who have enrolled for programmes like B.Tech. Candidates can check the scholarship criteria along with the amount from the table given below.

B. Merit Scholarship (Schedule B): The Merit Scholarship (Schedule B) is for meritorious or deserving students who have enrolled in programmes like BBA, BCA and MBA. Candidates willing to avail this scholarship scheme need to score a minimum aggregate mark in their higher qualification. 2. Vidushi Scholarship (Applicable for Girls Only)
The Hindustan College of Science and Technology offers a scholarship for girls, which is Vidushi Scholarship, from the 2nd year of the particular programme students are enrolling for. Applicants need to score a minimum aggregate mark in the 1st year and must have a minimum attendance requirement. The amount provided under the Vidushi Scholarship is INR 10,000, and candidates must complete the eligibility criteria to get the benefits of the Vidushi Scholarship. The Vidhushi Scholarship applies to some of the programmes which are given below.

Note: Applicants who are availing the benefits of other scholarships cannot apply for the Vidushi Scholarship.
3 Employee Ward Scholarship:
The Hindustan College of Science and Technology offers a scholarship scheme to the wards of the employees. The Employee Ward Scholarship applies to all courses, and candidates will get 25% OR 50% fee waiver on the tuition fees. This scholarship is for the award of an employee who has more than 5 or 10 Years of service in Sharda Group of Institutions. Employees who are from other than the Hindustan Campus are required to produce a letter from the concerned HR department certifying their employment tenure. In exceptional cases, 60% of tuition fee waiver will be granted to the wards of employees who have put in more than 15 years of service in the Group and whose yearly income from all sources is less than 8 lakhs rupees per year.
4. Scholarship for Wards of Defence Personnel / State / Zone level Sports persons/students with demonstrated innovative achievements/ Siblings
Under this Scholarship scheme, worth 10% of the tuition fee waiver will be provided to the categories of students over the full course duration. Applicants who want to take the benefit of this scholarship scheme need to have good innovation achievement / or sports achievement, which shall lie with the College Competency Authority. Candidates who score a minimum 65% or more marks in the First years (or previous year) in aggregate (60% in case of sports scholarship holders) are eligible to continue this scholarship for 2nd year onwards. Candidates who fail to meet the minimum eligible marks criteria in Ist year will have their scholarship cancelled for the next year, and the Scholarship, once cancelled, shall not be renewed or restored under any circumstances. In addition to this, applicants need to maintain the minimum required attendance.
5 Community Support Scholarship
This scholarship is provided to the students who take the admission in this educational institution by the recommendation of some students studying or faculty and staff. Current Students who refer her/his friend for admission will become eligible for the referral incentive, whereas if any faculty member or staff member refers to a student, they will receive a loyalty award in the form of an incentive.
