Candidates who are looking to apply for these courses need to fulfil the eligibility criteria given below:
Candidates who want to apply for the B.Tech course must have passed Class 12th with subjects such as Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, and Computer Science as compulsory subjects.
Along with this, candidates should have scored a minimum of 45% marks (40% for the reserved category) in any of the three subjects and have a valid rank in entrance exams such as JEE Mains or WBJEE.
For B.Tech Lateral Entry, candidates should have passed in Diploma in Engineering and should have a valid entrance exam mark in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Lateral Entry Test (JELET).
To get admitted to the Polytechnic (Diploma in Engineering), aspirants should have passed Class 10th with at least 35% marks and 45% marks in Physical Science & Mathematics together.
For the BCA and BBA course, candidates should have passed Class 12th with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
