The Geeta Institute of Law opened the application windows for the admission of candidates in its Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs for the academic year 2026-27. Candidates who are aiming to have a great career should register themselves at the Geeta Institute of Law for the Undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The application forms are available on the official website. The institute not only focuses on the studies of its candidates but also helps them enhance their skills to secure placements at top law firms. 

Candidates who have an LLB or an equivalent degree with a minimum 55% of marks completed from a well-recognised and accredited university can take admission in the postgraduate program of the Geeta Institute of Law, which is Master of Laws (LLM), whereas for the admission in the undergraduate programs such as Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law [BBA LLB (Honours)], Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BA LLB) candidates must have completed their 10+2 in the relevant discipline by securing at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST) and  Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB) requires completion of graduation in any stream with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).   

Geeta Institute of Law Admission 2026

The admission at Geeta Institute of Law is ongoing under the academic session of 2026-27. The students will be selected based on their aggregate marks in the qualifying exam. Additionally, candidates are also required to appear for the entrance exam, like Geeta Law Admission Test (GLAT) conducted by GIL for admission in the 5-year integrated program, which includes BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.) and score a minimum aggregate mark in these entrance examinations, followed by personal interview. Also, candidates must ensure that they are completing the eligibility criteria for the admissions in these 5-year integrated UG programmes of GIL. 

Besides the Geeta Law Admission Test (GLAT), the university also accepts the scores of other entrance exams like CLAT, LSAT and AILET. The university also reserves 20% seats for admission from the above-mentioned tests. 

Moreover, candidates can fill out the application forms either online or offline. Additionally, the university also charges INR 1,500 as the non-refundable registration fee from the students and the admission of the candidates gets confirmed only when their documents are verified by the official authorities of the university. To get admission in the UG and PG courses of Geeta Institute of Law (GIL), like Master of Laws (LLM), Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law [BBA LLB (Honours)], Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BA LLB) and Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB) candidates must ensure that they are completing the eligibility criteria before filing out the application forms. The common eligibility criteria for the UG courses is candidates must have completed 12th in any relevant stream, and for PG programmes, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with minimum aggregate marks. Also, candidates need to score a minimum aggregate mark in the Geeta Law Admission Test (GLAT) entrance exam conducted by the GIL. Applicants from the general category need to score 45% of marks in their qualifying examination and 42.75% for SC/ ST categories. 

Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BA LLB)

Students completed their 10+2 in any discipline with English as a compulsory subject from a well-recognised and accredited educational institution.

Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB)

The candidate must have completed their graduation from a well-recognised university with 45%, and candidates from the reserved categories (SC and ST) need to have 40% in total in the qualifying examination 

Master of Laws (LLM)

The candidate must have a LLB or an equivalent degree from a UGC Approved university with 55% marks in aggregate for the general categories and a minimum for the reserved categories. 

Geeta Institute of Law (GIL) Undergraduate Programs Admission 2026

Geeta Institute of Law (GIL) provides Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law [BBA LLB (Honours)], Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Legislative Law (BA LLB) and Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB) in a duration of 3 and 5 years. The fees for the undergraduate courses range between INR 49,000 and INR 90,000 per semester, which includes a one-time registration fee of INR 1,500, which is non-refundable. The institute also charges hostel fees and transportation fees for the students availing the facility of hostel and transport. 

Geeta Institute of Law accepts the application forms of only those candidates who complete their 10+2 in any stream, but English subject is mandatory from a well-recognised educational institution with a minimum 45% of marks (42.75% for reserved categories). For admission, candidates are also required to appear for the  Geeta Law Admission Test (GLAT), which will be conducted by the university on 21st March 2026. Further, after the GLAT entrance exam, the final selection of the candidates will be done through personal interaction and counselling. 

Geeta Institute of Law (GIL) BBA LLB (Honours) Admission 2026

Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law [BBA LLB (Honours)] is a 5-year integrated program which covers different subjects like Business Management, Company Law, Constitutional Law, Financial Accounting and more. The fees for the BBA LLB Honours are INR 90,000 per semester, and for admission to this program, GIL candidates need to pay a registration fee of INR 1,500, which is non-refundable. 

For BBA LLB (Honours) admission, candidates must have completed their 10th and 12th from a well-recognised and accredited educational institution with 45% of marks, as well candidates from the reserved categories need to have 42.75% in their qualifying examination. Furthermore, the final selection of the candidates will be done based on the scores in the Geeta Law Admission Test (GLAT) entrance exam, followed by the personal interview conducted by the official authorities of the university. For the year 2026, the GIL will conduct the GLAT entrance exam on 21st March 2026. Interested candidates can register themselves for the GLAT entrance exam by accessing the application forms from the official website of the university. 

The Geeta Institute of Law (GIL) offers a Master of Laws (LLM) under the postgraduate programs category with a duration of 2 years. The fees of the Master of Laws (LLM) program are INR 37,500 per semester, and candidates also need to pay INR 1,500 as the registration fee, which is non-refundable. The admission in the LLM program of Geeta Institute of Law is ongoing, and candidates who complete the eligibility requirements of the university can fill out the application forms from the official website of the university. 

The basic eligibility criteria for admission in the Geeta Institute of Law (GIL) includes candidates needing to complete their Bachelor’s degree with an UGC Approved university with 55% of marks in aggregate for the general categories and a minimum for the reserved categories. 

Geeta Institute of Law (GIL) Application Form 2026

The Geeta Institute of Law (GIL) has started the admission for the academic session 2026-27. Candidates who are enrolling for the UG and PG programs offered at Geeta Institute of Law (GIL) need to fill out the application form from the official website of the university. To avoid any kind of mistakes, candidates can follow the steps provided below. 

Step 1: Visit the official website of Geeta Institute of Law (GIL), i.e., https://geetalawcollege.in/. 

Step 2: Access the application forms and fill in all the required information like name, education qualifications and more. 

Step 3: Upload all the required documents. 

Step 4: Pay the application fee of INR 1,500, which is non-refundable via NEFT, Internet Banking, IMPS, GPAY, PayTM, or any debit or credit card. 

Step 5: Appear for the Geeta Law Admission Test (GLAT), and after that, the shortlisted candidates will be called for the personal interview via email. 

Step 6: At last, candidates will be called for the document verification at the campus of Geeta Institute of Law (GIL).
