FOSTIIMA Business School (FBS), New Delhi, has always provided an outstanding placement record, with the PGDM/MBA Batch of 2025-27 having reached 100%, not only for placements but also for providing quality education. It was called off in November, early enough in the placement drive, showing a strong corporate connection with high employability of graduates. The average salary package offered to the students stood at INR 11.02 LPA, while the highest salary package offered was INR 25 LPA, which was offered by a prominent institution like Khimji Ramdas.

The surnames of the recruiters belonged to diverse fields, with a significant proportion (~33%) being BFSI, and (~15%) Consulting. Companies such as Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Tata Capital, Wipro, TCS, Asian Paints, Nestle, JK Tyre, Protiviti, and more were among the top recruiters. Most recruiters are recurrent partners, indicating their satisfaction with the performance of FOSTIIMA graduates.

The Career Relations Cell (CRC), comprising alumni of IIM-IIT, also conducts in-depth research on industry leaders and HR managers, ensuring the placement of students in the best positions. It operates all year round to equip students with preparation on the recruitment process by holding resume-building seminars, soft skills training, mock interviews and career counselling sessions. Particular focus is placed on those pre-placement talks in which companies share their profile, work culture, and job opportunities, and this provides students with valuable information before the selection process.

The preparation for placement also consists of summer internships. When students are undertaking internships, many get stipends of up to INR 80,000 for two months, and a substantial number of them end up converting their internships into Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs). Internships are meaningful, according to the institute, as they relate to the specialisation as well as career intentions of the students.

The placement process is highly structured and consists of registration of the company and pre-placement talks, written exams or case-based tests, group discussions and technical or HR interviews. The drives can be held on campus, off campus, or in hybrid/online arrangements. Eligible students apply to appropriate jobs, and short-listed applicants go through the process to the last stages of selection.

Besides placement activities, FOSTIIMA also helps the participants to gain industry experience through live projects, corporate visits, and podcasts by senior leaders. This helps equip the graduates to be industry-ready, confident and able to perform their roles in leadership and managerial positions in any field.
