Particular focus is placed on those pre-placement talks in which companies share their profile, work culture, and job opportunities, and this provides students with valuable information before the selection process.
The preparation for placement also consists of summer internships. When students are undertaking internships, many get stipends of up to INR 80,000 for two months, and a substantial number of them end up converting their internships into Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs). Internships are meaningful, according to the institute, as they relate to the specialisation as well as career intentions of the students.
The placement process is highly structured and consists of registration of the company and pre-placement talks, written exams or case-based tests, group discussions and technical or HR interviews. The drives can be held on campus, off campus, or in hybrid/online arrangements.
