Fergusson College Empowered Autonomous Pune Diploma Courses with Fees Structure

Fergusson College Pune offers job-oriented diploma and advanced diploma programmes that integrate theory with lab work and training. These programmes are for students who have completed class 12 or an equivalent qualification and who want to enhance their professional skills after class in the areas of Interior design, Landscaping design, and Advertising Communication Design. Practical learning, industrial exposure, software teaching workshops, exhibitions, lectures given by invited speakers, and live projects are central to the curriculum.

The Advanced Diploma in Interior Design is a 2-year program that introduces students to residential and commercial design, furniture design, visualization techniques, material applications, project estimation, etc. Besides the theory classes, students are also trained in industry-relevant software like AutoCAD, Google SketchUp and 3DS Max. 

The program is scheduled in three batches: 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The overall fee of the program is INR 1,60,000. Some of the career-oriented scopes where graduates can look for jobs are Interior Designer, Project Manager, Space Planner, Furniture Designer, and Freelance Consultant.

The Advanced Diploma in Landscape Design is a 2-year course for those who want to become specialists in landscape planning, horticulture, commercial design projects, construction theory, and environmental design. The programmes in the Diploma in Landscape Design include workshops, case studies, and software training in AutoCAD and Google SketchUp, enabling students to gain hands-on experience. The batch of this diploma course runs from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, and the total fee is INR 1,38,000. Students can get jobs as Landscape Designer, Site Planner, Environmental Consultant, Horticulturist and Entrepreneur.

The Advanced Diploma in Advertising Communication Design (Graphic & Visual) is a program designed to educate students for the advertising, digital media, branding, and visual communication industries. The syllabus includes graphic design, typography, photography, advertising, content writing, digital marketing, and UI/UX design. Students are also taught the use of professional software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Figma, Adobe XD, Animate, and After Effects. The course timing is scheduled from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM. 

The total fee structure of this diploma course is INR 1,46,000. Students completing this advanced diploma course can make a career in Graphic Designers, UI/UX Designers, Brand Identity Designers, Advertising Professionals, and Freelance Creative Designers.

If a student wishes to cancel their admission, Fergusson College follows a structured refund policy for fees. As per the college fee refund policy, the students are eligible to get a refund, partly based on the time of filing the cancellation request. When the admission is cancelled more than seven days before the date of starting of the course, 75% of the total course fee will be refunded.

If the cancellation takes place within seven days before the course starts, the refund amount will be 50% and if the cancellation is made after the course has been running for seven days, only 25% will be refunded. No refund will be made if the cancellation request comes after seven days of the course starting. Furthermore, students who enroll after classes have commenced and do not cancel their admission will not be eligible for a refund. Candidates are advised to make cancellation requests in good time, as well as check the latest guidelines on refunds at the college admission office before applying.

Fergusson College (Empowered Autonomous), Pune Hostel Facilities and Fee Structure

The Fergusson College Empowered Autonomous, Pune has a separate hostel facility for boys and girls within the college campus. For a comfortable and secure residential atmosphere. The hostel offers facilities such as the provided 24 X 7 security, CCTV coverage, consultation with a doctor, the water purifier, water coolers, newspapers, the mess facilities, etc. The students are provided with accommodation on the basis of admission to the hostel on a merit basis and the availability of the seat. The students are also provided with hostel facilities. The mess facilities provide regular meals.

The mess charges are also paid apart from the hostel room charges. The per year hostel fee depends on the type of room and the category of student. For boys, the hostel fee for single as well as 2/3/4 seater is INR 70,350 and 60,350, respectively. The girls' hostel fee for non-AC and AC is INR 74,350 and 89,350, respectively. For foreign/NRI students, the hostel fee varies per the type of room and it is INR 1,08,850 and 1,71,850. These hostel fees also include the refundable security money. The mess charges are INR 3,500 per month (GST inclusive) for boys as well as girls.
