D Y Patil Ambi University offers admission to UG, PG, Diploma, and PhD courses. The courses are offered in different fields, such as Management, Engineering, Law, Hospitality & Tourism, Pharmacy, Architecture, Design, and Computer Applications. Admission to the courses offered by the university, such as B.Tech, B.Arch, LLB, MBA, etc., is based on merit and entrance exam scores.
Admission for the academic session 2025-26 is ongoing, and the last date to fill out an online application form is February 2026 (Tentative). Candidates who seek admission to their desired course must visit the official website and apply online before the last date to secure their seats. D Y Patil University Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026
To get admission in B.Tech courses at D Y Patil Ambi University, like Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering:
Candidates should have passed 10+2 or an equivalent exam and have studied Physics and Mathematics as core subjects.
They should also have studied Chemistry, Biology, vocational, IT, Electronics, or Computer Science as an additional subject.
Students must have secured at least 45% marks in all subjects.
5% relaxation is given to the reserved category students.
A valid score of any one of the entrance exams is also required, such as JEE Main, PERACET, or MHT-CET.
For Diploma students:
Students who completed a third year in an engineering diploma can also apply for direct second-year admission if they meet the required marks as per the university.
2. Architecture (B.Arch)
Candidates must pass 12th Class with Maths and Physics, and one more subject like Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, or a vocational subject.
They must have secured a minimum of 45% marks overall.
Candidates must pass an architecture entrance test like NATA or JEE Paper-II.
3. B.Sc Hospitality Studies
In any stream, 12th-class students can pass with English as a subject.
Students must pass with 45% marks in any stream.
And for the reserved category students, 40% marks are required.
Students who have a Diploma can also apply with 45% marks.
4. Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
Students must have passed Class 12 with Maths, Biology, Physics and Chemistry with at least 45% marks (40% marks required for the reserved category students).
Students must score a minimum mark in NEET or MHT-CET 2026.
5. Postgraduate (PG) – M.Tech (Engineering)
Students should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any other related field with at least 50% marks.
And 45% marks for reserved category students.
