The training and placement department at the Dr. CV Raman University Bihar serves as a focal point for interactions between corporate organisations, industries, academia, and research institutions. Its main goal is to provide placement opportunities to all the graduating students. 

Along with helping the students by offering placement opportunities, it also organises various training programs aimed at the growth and development of the students. Additionally, the placement cell also offers summer and winter internships & vocational training with national and international companies. This helps students get valuable insights into corporate life and hands-on experience through real-life projects during these internships. 

In the recent placement drive, students were offered the highest salary package of INR 18 LPA. Additionally, over 6000+ students were placed, and more than 600+ companies visited the University campus for recruitment. Some of the top recruiters that visited the campus to recruit students were Toyota, BYJUS, Trust Group, CRC, DeHaat, Bajaj Finserv, Dixon, Flipkart, HDFC Bank, Mahindra Finance, Shriram Finance, Ultratech, and more. 

Dr. C.V. Raman University Placement Process

The Placement Process at CV Raman University helps students get jobs in some of the most reputed companies. The placement cell manages the entire process from inviting the companies to conducting interviews. Furthermore, students are expected to follow certain rules and maintain discipline during the placement drive. Below is a brief description of the steps involved in the placement drive:

• Once the placement drive begins, students must upload their resumes within the given deadline.
• After a student applies to a particular company, they must attend the pre-placement talk organised by the University.
• If the student is shortlisted, they must appear for the first round of the selection process. During the selection process, students are expected to behave professionally.
• For on-campus interviews, students should wear the prescribed university uniform. Whereas, students should wear decent formal attire with black leather shoes for the off-campus interviews.
• Students should carry their identity card during PPTs, tests, group discussions, and interviews, and show it when it is required.
• The University also follows a ‘One Student-One Job’ policy. After getting a job offer, a student cannot participate in further placements unless the new offer is at least 50% higher than the previous one.
• Students are also expected to maintain discipline, and they should not argue with recruiters. However, if they face any behavioural issues or problems from the recruiter’s side, they should inform the placement cell immediately.
