DC School of Management and Technology, Vagamon, located in Idukki, is not only known for providing cutting-edge education, but it has also earned a strong reputation for its excellent placement record. In the 2023 placement season, the MBA program saw remarkable success, with a 100% placement rate. Students got the opportunity to secure their dream jobs at their desired firms.
The placement cell of DCSMAT Vagamon is responsible for guiding students and organising career-driven events at the institute. The placement cell prepares its students by developing their personal and professional skills, giving career-oriented training, conducting mock interviews and GD sessions, etc.
The placement drive for the year 2025 is not finalised yet; however, the statistics from recent years show its strong connection with top MNCs and their strong foundation in providing successful career opportunities to students over time.
According to the data available for the year 2023, over 140 MBA students were registered for placements, out of which 105 were successfully placed in top companies. There is no official information on the highest salary package offered. But the statistics show a candidate has grabbed over INR 6.5 LPA.
In the 2024 placement drive, over 90 candidates sat through the placement drive, out of which 87 got selected by one of the top visiting companies. KPMG, GWC, TCS, IBM, Kent RO, ICICI Bank, Berger, Infosys, etc., are among the top recruiters that have visited the DCSMAT Vagamon campus for the placement drives. These companies are known for their global presence and offer excellent career growth opportunities. Students were placed in roles related to Finance, Marketing, Operations, Human Resources, and Analytics.
