Chetna's Placement Cell works with students, faculty, and management to build strong industry links. It encourages students to take part in corporate events to gain industry experience. A team of students and faculty invite top companies from different sectors for campus placements. The cell also works with other committees to help students reach their career goals. Chetna is trusted by the industry, and its placements show its good reputation. In 2017, the Economic Times ranked it among the top 50 B-schools in India and the top 7 private B-schools in Mumbai.
The Summer Internship Programme (SIP) is a required part of the PGDM course. After the first year, students can do an 8–10 week internship in well-known companies. In some cases, this period may be a little longer. This experience helps students apply classroom learning to real business problems. It also helps them improve skills, understand industries, and build professional connections.
SIP projects cover many areas, including Strategy, Process Reengineering, ERP, Banking, Product Launches, Sales, Distribution, Market Research, and Advertising. Students gain valuable experience and can explore career options. Companies get new ideas and can evaluate students for final placements.
