CV Raman Global University Overview
CV Raman Global University (CGU) is one of the most famous private universities in Bhubaneswar, Odisha which was founded in the year 1997. CV Raman Global University Admission Overview
CV Raman Global University offers many programs like Diploma, PG Diploma, UG, PG and PhD courses. Students can apply online by visiting the official university website. Admissions for the 2026–2027 session are open, and the last date to submit the form is expected to be January 2026.
M.Tech students can receive a stipend of INR 7,500 per month after every semester, if they score a minimum of 7.5 CGPA and keep at least 75% attendance. This benefit is available for only two years. For PhD programs, the admission fee is INR 20,000 in the first year, and the thesis submission fee is INR 20,000 in the final year. For all Hotel Management courses (except PhD), students have to pay an examination fee of INR 3,000 per semester.

CV Raman Global University Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026
Admission to CV Raman Global University is based on merit and performance in entrance exams such as CGET, JEE Main, OJEE, CAT, MAT, XAT, PGAT, GATE and ATMA. The university offers Diploma, UG, PG and PhD programs. Along with the entrance exams, students must fulfil the academic qualification. Students must pass Class 10, 12, graduation or post-graduation with the required subjects and marks. Reserved category students may get some relaxation according to their marks.
1. Diploma Program
To get admission in the diploma course, students must hold an HSC/10th marksheet from a recognised board with a minimum of 60% marks. To be eligible for lateral entry, students must have either a 10+2 Science from a recognised board or a 2-year ITI in engineering, with a minimum score of 60%.
2. B.Tech
Applicants must have cleared 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics and obtained a minimum of 60% marks to be eligible for B.Tech.
Marine Engineering: Marine Engineering students should have passed 10+2 in PCM with 60% marks and 50% in English.
3. Lateral Entry B.Tech (3 Years)
Diploma Stream: The applicants must possess a diploma in any engineering or technology course with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for reserved categories).
BSc Stream: It allows BSc degree holders with a minimum of 60% marks (55% required by reserved categories) and 10 +2 Mathematics. Students applying for Mechanical Engineering may need to complete Engineering Graphics, Drawing and Mechanics courses in the first year. Admission is only possible if extra seats are available after regular diploma students.
D.Voc Stream: Applicants must possess a Diploma in Vocational or a related program.
Marine Engineering: Candidates should have a diploma in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics with 60% marks (50% in English) or have completed the first year of B.Tech Mechanical with 60% marks (50% in English).
4. M.Tech
The candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent by securing at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination.
GATE-qualified candidates are exempt from the entrance exam but must submit the required documents online for direct admission.
M.Sc graduates in relevant subjects with at least 60% marks are also eligible.
5. BBA
Candidates should have secured a minimum of 60% or higher in class 12 from a recognised board.
6. MBA
Candidates must have completed a 3-year Bachelor’s degree with 60% or more (45% for reserved categories).
7. BCA
The students must have 60% or above marks in class 12 in any stream with Maths, Statistics, Business Maths or Engineering Diploma to apply.
8. MCA
Graduation in any stream with Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Statistics or Diploma in Engineering with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
9. B.Sc in Tourism & Hospitality Administration
The students should have obtained 50% marks in any stream in Class 12 from a recognised board.
10. B.Sc in Agriculture
Students must have a class 12 result with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology subjects with 60% marks.
11. M.Sc
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in the relevant field with a minimum of 60% marks.
For Biotechnology, applicants must have studied Botany, Zoology, or Biotechnology with a minimum of 60% marks.
12. MA (English)
Students need a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in English or a related subject.
Minimum 55% marks are required.
13. Master's in Hotel Management
Students must have a Bachelor’s degree of at least 3 years in any stream, and they must have secured 50% marks.
14. D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy)
Applicants need to pass Class 12 with Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics) and secure at least 60% marks.
15. B.Pharm
Candidates must have passed +2 in the Science stream from a recognised Board or University with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics.
16. Research Program/PhD
Applicants must have a postgraduate degree in the relevant field with at least 55% marks or equivalent.
Students with a 4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s degree and 75% marks or equivalent are also eligible.
Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/differently-abled) may receive a relaxation of 5% in marks.

Prime Minister Scholarship (PM Scholarship) - The Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme is for children of CAPF, Assam Rifles, RPF, and RPSF personnel. Students receive support if they have scored well in their previous exams. It is given every year to eligible candidates.
