Awasthi Group of Institutions, with the approval of Atal Medical and Research University, HPNRC, and INC, offers BSc Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing, and GNM in the Nursing Department. In the Law department, AGI offers LLB and BA LLB, which are the courses recognised by the Bar Council of India. Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery is offered in approval of Atal Medical and Research University and NCISM. In affiliation with CSK HPKV (Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya), the institute offers a Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacist Training.
Admission to the courses offered by the AGI is based on both merit and entrance exams. AGI is accepting admissions for the academic session 2025-26. The Awasthi Group of Institutions is based at Nalagarh in the state of Himachal Pradesh. It has a wide range of Undergraduate, Integrated, and Diploma courses, including BSc nursing, GNM, Post Basic Nursing in BSc course, BAMS, BA LLB, and LLB. Merit and national-level tests are the basis for admission. However, candidates are required to meet some specific eligibility criteria that are set for the provided courses. Admission to the course differs depending on the course, although the general requirement is that the candidate has passed Class 12th from a recognised board.
LLB: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent exam for LLB, such as CLAT, to be eligible for admission.
BA LLB: For admission, students must have passed Class 12th or an equivalent exam.
BSc Nursing: At least 45% (40% SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) in Class 12th with PCB and English from a recognised board is the minimum criterion. The minimum age for admission should be at least 17, and the maximum should be 35.
GNM: The minimum required eligibility criteria for this course is at least 50% for General, or 40% for ST/ OBC in Class 12th from any stream. The minimum age limit should not exceed 17, and the maximum age limit should not exceed 35.
Post Basic BSc Nursing: A minimum of 50% in GNM and RNRM certificate from the state Nurses Registration Council. 5% eligibility percentage for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC. Candidates who have completed their Class 10+1 before 1986 or in 1986 are also eligible for admission.
BAMS: Candidates are required to have qualifying marks in Class 12th and have a valid score in NEET-UG. Qualifying for NEET is mandatory as per the NCISM guidelines.
