Avantika University offers scholarships, tuition fee waivers and teaching assistance to support needy students. These scholarships are designed to make education affordable in academics and sports, and also to assist students from economically weaker sections.
The number and amount of scholarships may change from time to time, with updates available on the university website. To continue receiving a scholarship, students must maintain at least 75% attendance; otherwise, the scholarship will be cancelled. Each student can avail only one scholarship scheme per year. From the academic year 2025–26, MP Domicile, DST, and Merit-cum-Means scholarships will be applicable.

Scholarships for Design Students (B.Des / M.Des)
MP Domicile Scholarship
This scholarship is for students from Madhya Pradesh who are studying Design courses (B.Des or M.Des).
Students must submit a valid MP domicile certificate.
Eligible students get a 10% scholarship on tuition fees every academic year.
Design Scholarship Test (DST)
The Design Scholarship Test (DST) is an entrance and scholarship exam conducted by MIT Institute of Design, Indore (Avantika University), serving as a gateway for students aspiring to pursue B.Des and M.Des programs.

Ved Vyas Scholarship
This merit-based scholarship is offered to students who rank in the top three of their Class 12 board exams or who have appeared for JEE (Mains). The award amount depends on the score achieved.

Vikram Scholarship
This merit-cum-means scholarship is for students scoring at least 90% in PCM or 80% in Arts/Commerce in Class 12. The scholarship amount depends on parents’ annual income.

This teaching assistance scheme is for students with strong academic performance who wish to support the university. Selected students contribute a set number of hours each week and month to assist in teaching and development activities.

Aryabhata Scholarship
This research assistance scheme is for students with strong academic performance who wish to support the university. Selected students contribute set hours each week and month to assist in research and development activities.

Selection depends on university workload and requirements.
Ashoka Scholarship
This scholarship recognises students who show outstanding performance during the academic year. It is awarded based on overall achievements in academics and other activities.
Students can get 25% or 50% tuition fee scholarship.
Separate applications must be submitted after the scholarship announcement.

MP Government Scholarship
This scholarship is for students from the SC, ST, or OBC categories. It is offered by the Government of Madhya Pradesh and is based on family income. Students with an annual family income below INR 3,00,000 are eligible to apply.

Important Scholarship Rules
Scholarships are not available for LLM and EMBA programs.
Scholarships apply only to tuition fees, not hostel, mess, books, etc.
Most scholarships are only for the 1st year's tuition fee.
Scholarships are processed in the 2nd semester.
A student can avail only one scholarship at a time.
Selection Process
Applicants must submit the scholarship form to the University office after admission.
Eligible students should fill out the form during the admission process.
The Avantika Admission Committee has sole authority over selection.
The scholarship amount is calculated only on tuition fees.
Students meeting multiple criteria will be considered under the higher preference and can receive only one scholarship per year.

Maintain good conduct and discipline
Sports scholarships also depend on continued sports performance after admission. Scholarships may be cancelled in case of misconduct or indiscipline.
