Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC) is a dynamic educational institute situated in Rama Mandi, Jalandhar. The campus provides a holistic learning environment for its students, thanks to its excellent infrastructure and resources. The AIMETC was established in 1997 through the Apeejay Educational Society. The institute got the title of “Technical Campus” after being approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Government of Punjab in 2012. Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus is affiliated with Inder Kumar Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKG PTU).
AIMETC offers various courses under Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs, such as BBA, BCom, B.Tech, BCA, MBA and MCA. MBA is one of the popular courses at AIMETC. The Institute has a highly qualified and experienced faculty for courses in Management, Engineering and Computer Applications. Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus has a total of 180 seats for the MBA program and 30 seats for the MCA program. Admission to the MBA and MCA programs requires a bachelor’s degree with a minimum qualifying mark from a recognised university, along with a valid score in CMAT/MAT. AIMETC Jalandhar offers various UG and PG courses to its students for the academic season 2025-26 with specific eligibility criteria.
Students must complete their 12th class with a minimum of marks from the recognised board.
Some of the courses, such as the MBA and B.Tech programs, require a national-level entrance exam, such as CMAT/MAT.
For PG programs, Students must have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
For the MBA and MCA programs, candidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum qualifying mark from a recognised university.
For admission to the B.Tech (Lateral Entry), candidates are required to have passed a diploma from an AICTE-approved institution with a minimum of 45% (40% for the reserved categories) marks. AIMETC has a great placement record in the last few years. AIMETC has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell (TPC) that supports the students in their career opportunities through various means. Training and Placement Cell regularly organises the pre-placement talks (PPTs), resume-making seminars, personality development programs, mock interviews, guest lectures, etc. AIMETC Jalandhar placement cell works like a bridge between the students and the recruiters. The Training and Placement Cell of AIMETC communicates with a large number of corporate companies and interacts with them, resulting in many reputable companies. More than 90% students were placed during the placement process. Around 40% students received double or triple offers from the corporate recruiters during the recruitment process. Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus Scholarship 2025
AIMETC offers various academic scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate level students. Some scholarships are provided by AIMETC administration for students coming from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Dr Stya Paul Award for Human Values, MBA Merit Scholarship, Post Matric scholarships, General Institute-wise merit and financial aid scholarship are a few scholarships that help students in fee waiving and provide financial assistance to the needy students.
AIMETC also provides some government scholarships, such as scholarships provided by the Government of Punjab and the Central Government. These scholarships are helping SC/ST and other reserved category students, wards of army personnel, economically weaker sections and students excelling in sports and cultural activities.
The process for receiving scholarships starts from the time of admission and runs throughout the session. Students have to submit the relevant documents during the scholarship process.
