

Amity University in Mumbai offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs beginning in 2026. Undergraduates can choose from a wide variety of courses, including B.Tech, B.Arch, BBA, B.Sc., BA, B.Com., and professional programs in Law, Pharmacy, Fashion Design & Fine Arts, and Communication. For example B.Tech has many specialisations available such as, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Biotechnology, Aerospace Engineering. Postgraduate programs available to students include MBA, MCA, M.Sc., MA and M.Com, while MBA is offered with numerous specialisations like Marketing, Finance, HR, International Business, Logistics & Business Analytics. Doctoral programs are also offered in different fields, with candidates required to complete research proposals and entrance exams before gaining admittance.
Eligibility criteria differ based on the level and course of study. For UG courses, the candidate should have qualified in Class XII with the required subjects, e.g., PCM for B.Tech, PCM or NATA scores for B.Arch, etc., with the required marks for the relevant courses. For PG courses, the candidate should have a graduation degree with a minimum of 50% marks. For the MBA course, the candidate should qualify through any of the following tests: CAT, XAT, GMAT, NMAT, or Amity's own test. For the PhD course, the candidate should have a Master's degree, a preliminary research concept, followed by the Amity PhD Entrance Test (APET), and finally, the interview. The entire process of admission is online, and the candidate must submit the form, upload documents, and pay an application fee of INR 1500. The fees are varying according to the courses. For the UG courses, the fees for the B.Tech courses range from INR 6-10 lakhs, whereas for the BBA and B.Com courses, the fees range from INR 3-5 lakhs. For PG courses, the fees for MBA courses are between INR 7.2 lakhs and INR 13.88 lakhs, depending on the specialisation, while for MCA and M.Sc. courses, the fees are between INR 2 and 4 lakhs. The PhD courses have different fees for different specialisations. Scholarships are also available, which are merit-based and based on entrance test results.
The MBA admissions are based on CAT, MAT, GMAT, and GRE percentile ranks. The cutoff marks for admission are different for different courses. For engineering and management courses, the cutoff marks for national-level entrance tests are quite high. Candidates can find their admission notification on the Amity Admissions website where they can find out whether or not they were accepted to Amity University this year. Once they have been accepted as an accepted student, they will need to pay their tuition and submit additional documents before confirming their acceptance.
Admissions for undergraduate courses like BTech, BArch, BBA, and BSc courses have started from November 2025. The entrance tests like JEE Main, CUET UG, and NATA for these courses are scheduled between January and May 2026.
Admissions to the master's degree programme normally begins in December of 2025 and candidates are then required to take the national qualifying exam for their respective discipline from January through to April 2026 based on the scores they receive. PhD candidates will be required to submit their preliminary research ideas and take the APET and an interview, for the January 2026 session at the Mumbai campus. If there is not an applicable national qualifying exam score available to the undergraduate applicant, an Amity Entrance Test is required prior to acceptance into an undergraduate program.
All offers of admission to Amity University Mumbai are published on the Amity Admission Microsite, where students can track their completion of the admission process by accessing their admit card, determining their enrollment status, and paying the admission fees. The UG admission 2026 process has been initiated by Amity University Mumbai. Amity University has announced its admission process for their B.Tech degree program for the academic year 2026. The program offers students many different specialisations such as Computer Science and Engineering, Biotechnology, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electronics & Communication. They are currently accepting applications from students who wish to apply to the program and can apply by visiting the official website.
The first session of JEE Main will be held on April 11 to April 19, 2026 and second session will occur with the corresponding date of May 14 to May 17, 2026.
To be accepted into the program an individual needs to have completed their secondary education with at least 60 per cent marks in subjects of physics, chemistry and mathematics. Admissions is primarily based on the candidate’s performance on the JEE Main exams, if a student has taken either of the other two entrance tests (MHT CET or the Amity University specific test), those results can also be used for making the admission decision.
Applying to the Amity BTech program is a fully online process. Individuals will need to submit the required application materials, upload the requested documentation and pay the applicable application fees. Each applicant who is selected for a BTech program will then be notified and invited to participate in a group counseling session for seat assignments.

Amity University in Mumbai has opened enrollment for their postgraduate education (PG) programs in 2026, which include Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master in Science (M.Sc), Master of Arts (MA), and Master of Commerce (M.Com), as well as other specialized master's degrees in Biotechnology, Applied Psychology, Journalism, and Fashion Design. The focus of these programs is to educate students on the job readiness that they will develop from the courses and hands-on experience that they will receive during the program.
All of the courses will have different eligibility criteria to take admission. The eligibility criteria for an MBA program will require an applicant to have completed their graduation with at least 50% and to have taken one of the following exams like CAT, XAT, GMAT to apply. An MCA will require an applicant to have graduated with a bachelor's degree having Mathematics as one of the subjects. Similarly, the eligibility criteria for both the M.Sc and MA programs will be that an applicant must be an undergraduate student in a relevant field to apply.
The admission process consists of filling out an application, uploading documents and either participating in a personal interview or taking an entrance exam to be accepted, which will vary according to each program.
The cost of pursuing your PG education will vary from program to program and will not be fixed. For the MBA program, based on specialization, the total cost will range from INR 7.2 lakhs to INR 13.88 lakhs for the entire two-year course. Similarly the fees vary depending upon the courses chosen by them. The university provides performance-based scholarships for the entrance examination and academic merit, making its PG programs available for eligible students.

Amity University Mumbai is currently accepting applications for its MBA program set to start in mid-year 2026. The MBA is a two-year full-time degree offered in 13 specialties namely Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, International Business, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Entrepreneurship.
Students interested in enrolling can apply for this MBA program by writing one of the following national-level entrance exams like CAT, XAT, NMAT, GMAT, CMAT, GRE, or through merit. Scores will be used to shortlist candidates for an interview.

The PhD Admissions for the academic year 2026, offered by Amity University Mumbai, will be opened in the month of April 2026. All stages of the application process will be conducted entirely online therefore, applicants are required to complete an application via online submission, pay the application fee, and upload all required supporting documents.
Additionally, applicants are required to submit a brief research proposal with their application. Admission is based on performance in a written entrance test and in an interview. Those applicants who are employed (other than in an academic position) can also be considered for admission to the part-time PhD program, provided they provide proof of a No Objection Certificate from their employer. The candidate will take an Admission Test for Doctoral Programs (APET) and an Interview.

Structure - 100 MCQ's (multiple-choice questions) (no negative points for incorrect answers)
Sections include:
General Section (Total Marks 50) - research methodology, general knowledge, English comprehension, logical reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and data interpretation.
Subject Section (Total Marks 50) - questions covering the subject of the doctoral program chosen, and other related subjects at the Master's level.
The interview will be conducted by the Faculty Research Committee (FRC).
Candidates who are not required to take the Aptitude Test (according to UGC regulations) will be interviewed only.
Step 6 - Admission Offer
Successful candidates will be sent an online admission offer within 48 hours of their selection.
The admission offer will specify the method of payment and the date, time, and place where the course begins.
It will be conditional and good for that specific course and the term they applied for.
If the conditions above are not satisfied within the timeline established, the offer will be withdrawn.
NRI / Foreign candidates must submit the AIU certificate, as well as the required documents.
