Alliance University Bangalore Admission

Alliance University Bangalore provides a comprehensive range of undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD, Executive, and diploma programmes in various disciplines like business, engineering, law, liberal arts, and design. The Alliance University Bangalore admission process for each program follows the same university process, but only varies in program eligibility and the selection process. The admission process starts with meeting the eligibility criteria as per couse selected.

For most undergraduate degrees, such as BBA (Hons.), B.Tech, BA, B.Des, or others, mainly demand completion of class 12 with a minimum percentage usually around 50% mark or more, while relaxed norms shall be applicable for reserved categories. The selection procedure for UG courses normally comprises university entrance tests such as Alliance University Scholastic Aptitude Test (AUSAT), Alliance Undergraduate Management Aptitude Test (AUMAT), or subject-wise tests that are followed by personal interviews and consideration of academic and extracurricular activities.

For PG courses, a relevant bachelor’s degree with minimum required marks 45% to 50% is necessary. While some programmes may consider national or university-level entrance scores alongside interviews or merit. For example, MBA admissions also accept scores from exams like CAT, XAT, MAT or other entrance test including Alliance Management Aptitude Test combined with academic performance and interview rounds. M.Tech admission requires a bachelor's degree with a valid score in the Alliance University Entrance Test.

Ph.D. admissions are purely merit-based and require an eligibility of a master's degree with a minimum aggregate marks of 55% percentage. Also candidates should qualify the entrance test like the Alliance Research Aptitude Test (ARAT), along with the interview, research synopsis evaluation, and comprehensive assessment of scholarly potential are usual.

Application and registration are processed through the university's official online system, where candidates need to upload their academic records and other required documents. The application form fee of INR 1000 (and USD 50 for foreign national applicants) is to be submitted for each course at Alliance University. The final selection is based on candidates' performance in Alliance University Bangalore entrance exam or other national or state entrance exams (if applicable), interviews, and comprehensive profile evaluation.
