All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rajkot is one of the best and most trusted reputable medical institutions in Gujarat state. AIIMS Rajkot Gujarat was established in 2020 and is located in Rajkot, Gujarat. The institute is one of the nine new AIIMS which were established by the parliament in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-section (1) of section 3 of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Act, 1956 (25 of 1956) in 2019 by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. This institute is established under phase six of Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) to reduce the âgapsâ in affordable tertiary health care, and to generate âwellnessâ amongst the general population. The Gujarat Govt has allotted about 201 Acres of Land for the project.

AIIMS Rajkot admission to its medical program is open for the academic year 2025. The institute offers various medical programs, such as MBBS, MD, MS, DM, PDCC. Rajkot AIIMS admission process for its various courses is fully based on competitive entrance exams like NEET UG/PG, Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET). Candidates who want to get admission into any of the programs offered by the institute must meet the required Rajkot AIIMS cut off. Rajkot AIIMS offers various Undergraduate, and Postgraduate programs with specific eligibility criteria for the 2025-26 admission session. The eligibility criteria for admission vary for each course.
To get admission into the flagship MBBS program (comprising four and a half years, followed by compulsory internship of one year), candidates must have passed their 12th class with physics, chemistry, biology, as their main subjects from any recognized board. Candidates must also have a valid NEET UG exam scorecard with minimum required cutoff with the following counseling process.
For PG courses such as MD, MS, DM candidates must have passed MBBS degree with at least 55% Marks from any recognized university and should have valid scores of INI CET and INISS.
For the PDCC program, interested candidates must have completed their PG degree in relevant PG degree with minimum 50% marks from a Medical Council of India recognized college/university.
