The eligibility criteria at AIMT are different for each course. For the B.Tech program, students must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the optional subjects from Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, or Biology. They also need a valid JEE Main exam score.
Students who want to get admission into the B.Tech course through lateral entry, the candidate must have passed a three-year diploma in engineering. Along with this, they should have secured 50% marks or a three-year B.Sc degree with Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects.
For postgraduate (PG) courses like MBA and MCA at AIMT, students must have completed graduation from a recognised university with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST students). Admission to these courses is done through UPCET entrance exam scores.

AIMT offers a B.Tech course at the Undergraduate level, and this course was introduced in 2006 with four branches and 60 intakes in each. However, the overall intake has now increased to 900. It offers specialisations such as CSE, CSE in AI & ML, CSE in Data Science, Computer Science, CSE AI, CSE IoT, Cyber Security, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
Students who want to get admission into this course must have passed Class 12 from any recognised board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and one optional subject like Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, or Biotechnology. Students also need to appear for the JEE Main entrance exam, as admission is based on JEE scores.
For B.Tech Lateral Entry at AIMT, students must have either completed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering with at least 50% marks, or a 3-year BSc degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects and a minimum of 50% marks overall.

Step 7: Next, they must pay the application fee online.
Step 8: Download and save a copy of the filled application form and payment receipt for future use.
