ABES Engineering College offers admissions for both UG and PG courses. At the UG level, the college offers only BTech courses and students can choose from eight specialisations. At the PG level, the college provides MCA, MBA, and MTech programmes. Students can also take admission in BTech through lateral entry.

ABES Engineering College has different eligibility criteria for each course. In 2025 students will need to meet such requirements to be admitted. The requirements are simple to follow and they are based on marks and entrance exams.
B.Tech Eligibility: Students must pass Class 12 with these subjects such as Physics, Math, Chemistry, Computer Science or similar subjects. They need at least 45% marks. Reserved category students need 40% marks OR Students who passed D.Voc in a related field can also apply.
Admission is through JEE Main and UPTAC counselling for most seats. Some seats are filled through direct admission with JEE Main score, institute test, and PI.
B.Tech Lateral Entry Eligibility: tudents must have a Diploma in Engineering with at least 45% marks. Reserved category students need 40% marks OR Students with a BSc degree and Math in Class 12 can also apply if seats are left OR D.Voc students in a related field can also apply. Admission is through CUET UG counselling or direct mode with CUET score, institute test, and PI.
MCA Eligibility: Students must have a BCA, BSc (CS/IT), B.Tech (CSE/IT), or any graduation with Math in Class 12 or at graduation level. They need 50% marks. Reserved category students need 45% marks.
