VGU Mega Job Fair 2026: 1,642 Candidates Selected by 100+ Recruiters, Highest Package Touches ₹44 LPA

Mega Job Fair 2026 was successfully conducted by Vivekananda Global University (VGU), Jaipur at the Rajasthan International Centre (RIC), Jaipur. The Mega Job Fair turned out to be one of the largest university placement programs held in Rajasthan offering good employment opportunities for students coming from various academic backgrounds.

A large number of students from VGU and many other colleges and universities from Rajasthan participated in the event looking at good employment prospects. Many companies, both national as well as international, took part in the event in order to recruit the best talent for their vacancies.

The recruitment program saw participation of more than 5,100 candidates who went through processes such as aptitude tests, technical evaluation, group discussion and personal interview. Out of all these candidates, 1,642 candidates were selected and offered jobs by top companies.

VGU Mega Job Fair 2026 Highlights

The VGU Mega Job Fair 2026 in Rajasthan received an excellent response from students. The recruitment program attracted a total of 5,108 participants which included Vivekananda Global University students along with other colleges and universities students. While a majority of 4,556 applicants had registered themselves prior to the recruitment drive, there were also 552 candidates who registered during the fair. This indicated the increasing need for quality placements in today's world.

More than 100 recruiters participated in the Mega Job Fair and provided the participants with job vacancies in several different sectors, such as IT, Engineering, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Healthcare, Banking, Finance, Legal, Media, Commerce, Tourism and hospitality, Design and Management. These were the sectors where candidates underwent a rigorous selection process including aptitude tests, technical tests, GDs/Personal interviews.

The most attractive thing about the recruitment drive was the salary package offered by the recruiting companies. In fact, the highest offer was of INR44 LPA, while the average was INR5.5 LPA. This reflects the quality and talent of the university's students, as well as the confidence that employers have in them. In total, 1,642 students secured jobs with leading national and international companies.

The primary purpose behind organizing the Mega Job Fair was to provide equal opportunities to all the students coming from varied educational backgrounds. In comparison to other recruitment drives where only engineering students get recruited, VGU offers the chance to not just engineering but also other students, who pursue subjects like Management, Agriculture, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Law, Journalism & Mass Communication, Commerce, Science, Hotel Management & Design & Computer Applications.

The Mega Job Fair also witnessed participation from many reputed companies across various industries. Companies from technology and software industries offered plenty of openings for candidates with interests in IT, software, cloud, analysis, artificial intelligence, and digital technologies.

Some of the major technology recruiters at the Mega Job Fair were Infosys, Celebal Technologies, Metacube Software, Dixon Technologies, Fatcamel.ai, W3era, ERD Technologies and ThinkVibes Software.

Core engineering students were also able to take advantage of openings offered by many leading manufacturing and engineering companies such as JCB, Tata Motors, Mahindra Tractors, TVS Motors, Motherson International, CNH Industrial, Yokohama and Shriram Pistons & Rings were some of the recruiters who took part in the recruitment drive.

There were also openings for students in agricultural science. Students could find jobs offered by companies like Balwaan Krishi, Virbac Animal Health India and Bestech Seed India.

Healthcare and pharmaceutical industries also had their recruiters at the job fair. Sun Pharma, Apollo Pharmacy, Tata 1mg, Unichem Laboratories and Pukhraj Healthcare were some of the companies which offered career openings in these areas.

Top recruiters were also available for management and banking and finance students. Some companies that recruited these students for various positions in business and finance included Ernst & Young (EY), AU Small Finance Bank, Axis Bank, Mahindra Finance, HDB Financial Services, Bajaj Capital, Muthoot Finance, Paytm, PhonePe, and Quess Corp.

Even the legal field had good representation at the event. Those students who were studying law got to know about organizations like LegalLands LLP, VSL Chambers, J&J Law Chambers, Four Kings Law Chamber, and Rajkumar & Associates.

Likewise, those who were pursuing journalism and mass communications could explore various organizations like Dainik Bhaskar, Golden Hind News, Media Plus Bharat, and The Public Hub Newspaper.

The Mega Job Fair offered students a platform where they could engage directly with the recruiting agencies and get information regarding various job opportunities. The students of engineering discipline were happy with the presence of numerous reputed companies in the fair as they could find positions matching with their career plans.

Similarly, agriculture students were content with the involvement of the companies dealing with agribusiness as the fair gave equal opportunities to students from all disciplines of study instead of just engineering and management disciplines.

As many as 5,100 candidates participated in the event along with over 100 recruiters, leading to 1,642 successful placements with the highest package being offered at INR44 LPA. The VGU Mega Job Fair 2026 has set a benchmark for all other universities' placement programs in Rajasthan.
