Media Verse 2026 Concludes at VGU Jaipur
Vivekananda Global University (VGU) organised a two-day media fest, āMedia Verse,ā which ended successfully on 28 January 2026. The fest was held on 27 and 28 January at the university campus. It gave a platform to the students for exhibiting their talents in media, communication and creative activities. The main aim of the event was to promote new ideas, creativity, teamwork, and practical learning. It also allowed students to comprehend the workings of the media world in a more practical and interesting manner.
On the second and final day of Media Verse, the Patron of the University, Shri M. R. Bagaria, delivered the keynote address. He shared the view that the media is like a mirror of society because it reflects the values, issues, and challenges that the people are experiencing. He emphasised the role of truthful journalism and creative thinking. He motivated the students to take the help of the media positively to make good changes in society. Shri Bagaria also expressed his gratitude to the organising committee, faculty members and students for their great efforts in making the fest a grand success.
The Chief Guest, Ms Khushi Bagaya, former Miss Rajasthan, motivated students to believe in their dreams and work consistently toward their goals. She highlighted that platforms like Media Verse help students refine their skills and make the most of their potential. Her presence added charm to the fest as she inspired the participants with her inspiring words.
The event had different segments of competitions like reel creation, filmmaking, fashion parade, open mic, and Ad Mad. Student participants used reel and film production to highlight various social issues and present their creative stories. The fashion show brought to light ramp walks that were confident and creative, which kept the audience clapping loudly, reflecting the confidence of the participants. The open mic segment gave an opportunity to students to show their feelings through poetry, storytelling and singing songs. In the Ad Mad contest, the groups were given a certain time to make effective advertisements; thus, their creativity and teamwork were put to the test.
More than the competitions, Media Verse gave students an experience of the media field and facilitated the development of their teamwork, leadership, and presentation skills. The event was a good combination of learning and fun, thus a delightful experience for all the participants.
The valedictory fest was the end of the event, where winners of different competitions were recognized and awards were given by the guests of honour. The applause and support given at the ceremony were a great motivation to the students and reminded them that consistent effort, creativity, and dedication are important. The event ended with a vote of thanks by the organising committee, who thanked the university management, guests, faculty members, and students for making the fest successful.
At Vivekananda Global University, the media fest Media Verse was more than just a competition. Students got a chance to meet, create and learn, and the experience made a deep impression on them. Not only did the event bring about new ideas, self-expression, and teamwork, but it was also a fun and eye-opening experience that will encourage the participants to aim high in their studies and careers.
With a mix of educational, entertaining, and creatively engaging elements, Media Verse shows the Vivekananda Global University's commitment to supporting student talent, innovation, and overall development.
